Scored some new MJ stuff for the collection:

Not really MJ related, but there also was a setup from 2000:

 

 

Picked them up from a nice guy who was cleaning out his storage, and these were some of the last things left. He had been the owner of a dealership that was in his family since the '40's when his dad picked it up. He was fortunate enough to sell the dealer before the recession hit, and still had a lot of the old promo things kicking around. He sold off a lot in '06, but said this was pretty much the last of it, save some old old Nash/Rambler/Dodge Bros. stuff. He was happy to see it go to someone who would keep it around, as he just said he couldn't see just throwing it away. I was happy to part with some cash and pick this stuff up. I wasn't all that interested in the 2000 stand, but figured I would find someone who would like it.

 

I gave him a club card with my info, told him about us, and of course spoke of the WFC Peter's Land Speed Truck and the original, Neohic and the Archers, and all the stuff that makes our club the great place to hang out. Hope he stops in and pokes around. Seemed like a good guy.

Someday you need to get acquainted with an oversize scanner and permanently save that stuff for ever. Then share with folks like me who would like to hit 'print' to have a copy for shop decoration.
