Thought I had seen some pics of one that had been done. A sear ch revealed this. Think he goofed using a XJ rear door instead of a MJ. But still looks nice. Also looks like 6 lug axles. Somebody got a sharper eye than mine?

Been trying to think of a way to get around having the wheel cutout in the rear door. Can't use a front door because of the upper slant. Only thing I can think of is taking two doors, one front and one rear and cutting them in half, horizontally , and welding back together. Or use a 2 dr XJ, Then you would have the back glass to fool with.

Why not take a comanche cab, cut it down the center of the door. Then take a 4 door cherokee and do the same to it, but down the back door. Then take the MJ bed and rear section of cab and weld it to whats left of the front section of the XJ

  • 11 months later...

These have been floating around for quite some time.  So, I figured I would put them all in one thread, for reference.  Its been years since I did these, I'm not quite sure how long ago it was.  The first picture is the "stock" photo that I started with.  I was lazy with some of them, as you will be able to tell.  Enjoy......or don't.......
