I purchased this 88 Comanche at the end of 2012 from another member on here locally.  Since then I've changed up a few things and about have it where I want it. 

 

What it looked like when I picked it up.

Then just a week ago I finally gathered up all the parts I needed to lift it.

4.5" Rusty's Springs

2" coil spacers (already on the truck)

RCX Control arm drop brackets

RCX super flex upper and lower control arms

drop pitman arm

RCX adjustable trac bar

RCX N2.0 shocks

RCX N2.0 steering stabilizer

New spring perches for rear 

All new extended SS braided lines

 

 

had to modify the control arm drop brackets to fit the MJ.

Here are pics after the lift. Also went ahead and bought a rear bumper since the original was bent. Need to get a front one now.

Also made some mounts and added LED spot lights on the pillar and 50" light bar up top. :)  Also painted some black "rivets" on it for fun

 

Tires are 33x12.50x15 Hercules Trail Digger and 15x8 Ion matte black wheels

Thanks guys! The bumper is a JCRoffroad DIY kit. I caught it on sale and its one of the best ones I've seen for these trucks. Now need to get a front one!

I was hoping it was the jcr bumper as I bought mine on sale awhi,e back, just need to weld it up

Love the military look you can't beat flat olive drab, desert tan, or even flat black.    Forget the shiny crap

Definitely like the look overall, lift is tight, paint catches your eye and options like the rear bumper a nice fit with the MIL theme.

I added some reverse lights to the Jeep finally. SOO much better! 

 

 

Also got posted on the Bushwacker site so thought that was pretty neat. I've been enjoying the heck outta this thing. Drive it everyday! Next on the list is making some rock sliders and getting a front bumper!

I havent seen any FB messages.. But the paint is just OD green rattle can and flat black for the rivets.

 

I have a front bumper and a winch on the way so hopefully have pics of it installed next week.

Got my new Smittybilt XRC winch bumper mounted yesterday! I love the look of it! Its built pretty nice also. Ive got a 8000lb winch sittin here waiting to go on it also when I get time. 

Looks like I'm gonna end up putting a taller spacer or springs up front to level it once everything is on. haha
