I have 2 4.0 comanches that start and run decent but as soon as I shut them off I can not get them to restart until they cool off?? Any suggestions? I bought a new cam/crank shaft position sensor for one of them and plan on trying that this evening.

Ok i've been addin stuff to my Comanche for a wheelin trip to Haspin Memorial Day weekend and things are going good. i now have lights and grill guard on front ,lights underneath on sides and out back,and a set of lights shining in bed. So as i've been gettin things ready i've been tryin things out of course and I'm not crazy about my turning radius are they all this way or am i just used to my Tj? I don't remember my other Mj's being like this.

ok now my clutch won't release! i can't figure it out new slave cylindar all new line i can push the clutch in and watch the throw out move but it won't release what gives!!??

Alright help me out here folks. I've attempted to bleed my clutch now about 3 times and it starts workin then a day or so later it acts like its not workin it gets hard to shift when setting still but shifts just fine with engine off? Do i have air in my lines??

Yea i got pics but can't figure out how to get them on here It was a broke 1-2 shift rail and all the syncros were shot so it was nearly impossible to get into 1st gear. But anyway !!OH YEA OH YEA I GOT COMANCHE MOBILE AGAIN!!! It shifts smooth no grinding thru all gears I just drove it about 15 miles and have no issues!! Praise God !!

Oh YEA!!! I got tranny all back together it shifts thru all gears good and smooth the in put shaft turns and output shaft turns correct thru all gears. I'm excited I will be puttin it back in truck tomorrow!! I'm ready to go wheelin!!

Man workin on manual trannys sucks!! :doh: But on the good side i have dissassembled both trannys got all the stuff on output shaft swapped for 4wd tranny and assembly should start tomorrow after work or friday. :thumbsup:

Man i've had Samuris, tj"s, green Comanche, Chevy truggy acouple blazers about 5 full sizes Chevys KFX 700 drz 400 3 different Cjs Ive had more I'm sure but can't remember them all.

the magnetic was covered with shaving and for the last 2 months its been really hard to get it into 1st gear so swappen parts is what I'm attempting now wish me luck

i got the 4wd one torn almost all the way down found a broken shift rod forks looks ok. and i found a awesome set of videos on youtube for rebuilding ax15 tranny i think theres 6 vids they are alot of help.

I have had grinding gears and very hard to get into 1st gear so I'm thinking worse than that
