a1500ram
I am Steve Bennett with SMSheadliners and wanted to see if there would be any interests in a group buy for the custom made headliner panels I make for the jeep Comanche. I normally sell these for $135 which includes shipping. This offer would be good through the end of February. Groups of at least 5 would receive a 26% discount...total cost of $100 which includes shipping via USPS parcel post unless you live in a postal zone to where priority mail would be the same cost. If you are interested in this offer, reply to this posting with the color you need. After there are 5 member responses, I will pm you requesting an email address to send a PayPal invoice to. If you have questions or concerns, pm me and I will respond as soon as possible. If you have issues with PMs, email me direct at smsheadliners@windstream.net Let me also add that along with the custom made headliner you will also receive extra material for your sun visors so you can have them recovered locally. I do offer the recovering service if you want to ship me your sun visors, I can send them back with your headliner. I do charge $40 for the pair to recover sun visors. Steve NOTE #1: I do offer a 100% money back guarantee for customer satisfaction. I guarantee the headliner panel will fit without any modifications to the headliner panel itself. (You will need to trim the opening for the sun visor end clips. There were two different styles used from the earlier models versus the later models. I precut both locations into the panel for you to use which ever you need. You will just need to trim the headliner material in the opening by cutting an "X") If for some reason you are not completely satisfied with the headliner panel, I will send you a return shipping label and will refund 100% of your purchase price after I receive the headliner back. NOTE #2: Turnaround time on the Panels would be shipping as early as the First Monday after purchase has been made but no later than the Second Monday. NOTE #3: You will receive step by step instructions on removal of your old headliner and the install of the new one. If you do not have a headliner the instructions should still be helpful in the installation process. Please go to SMSheadliners.com to see my Ebay Feedback score. I will be posting other offers on the Vendors website soon for discounts on Headliner kits, Custom Made Door panels, and other Custom Made Headliner Panels for other vehicles you may own. 87Warrior
If I understand correctly, is this for a headliner board, headliner material and sun visor material? If so, count me in for gray :) If not, do not include me as I have the material from Joanns in my attic.

foreman1063
Can the headliner be made with a grey vinyl type material vs the felt material?
a1500ram
Can the headliner be made with a grey vinyl type material vs the felt material? Sorry but no. The vinyl is not condusive to the contours of the rear of the panel. It would be very hard to keep puckers out of the vinyl. The oe type foambacked cloth headliner material is very forgiving when it comes to contours. Steve

terrawombat
I bought a headliner from Steve last month. I haven't had a chance to pull the interior apart to install it, but I can tell you it's top-notch quality. I especially like how he precut the holes for both style sunvisors, but covered them up with the fabric so you can pick which hole to open up and you don't have an "extra" hole. I will say that I was a bit surprised when I saw the box that it showed up in. I was expecting a large, flat box, but instead it came in a very tall, skinny box. Steve rolls the headliner up tight enough to fit into the box for easier shipping, but not tight enough to "kink" the backer board so that it leaves a crease. The backing board is definitely a lot more flexible than the original backing board that came in our trucks. I think if I were to try rolling up my OEM headliner, it would just fold up and be permanently creased. Since the headliner is rolled up, it does tend to keep that shape. I just let mine sit out on the kitchen table for a few days and added a couple of heavy items in certain spots and it flattened right out to the original contour. Thanks again Steve! One of these days I'll get it in the truck...
a1500ram
Terra wombat, Thanks for the feedback! I spent a full 8 hours building a buck to form the Comanche panel a test fitted about 8 different times modifying my template each time until I was satisfied of a perfect fit. The Comanche I was using actually had a factory installed sunroof. If anyone has a need for a headliner with a sunroof option, I can make those also. Thanks again!
