Vanity License Plates

Been thinkin about getting some custom plates for my MJ when the time comes, since its only an extra $10/year here. I believe I have seven spaces to work with, and I can only work with letters and numbers; no symbols. Some that I came up with are:

88 MJ

MANCHE

1TON MJ

88CHIEF

MJCHIEF

Any ideas? Does anyone else have MJ or offroad related license plates?

I do not have my custom plates yet as I need to get a form signed by the companding officer of my national guard unit still, but I am going to get GI JEEP. I also have an exact spec/replica german license plate on the front of the truck for the wolfsburg region of germany (this is truely the first non-vw that I have had for a daily driver)

Not personalized, but the Oregon limited distribution Pacific Wonderland plates. 1 of 40k.

Custom plates in OR are limited to six characters. Should I have gone this route, I would have gone with 87AMC or 87MJ if not already taken.

The Pacific Wonderland plates cannot be customized, and I wanted the PW plates worse than I wanted custom ones.

I've been told in Georgia we can have a old model year plate on the vehicle if we keep a standard plate inside. The old plate has to be registered and linked to the new plate. Must qualify as an antique vehicle - 25 years or older. This sounds pretty cool to me. Guess I'll start trolling ebay for a good 88 plate!

Illinois you can do the same thing. I picked up a set of Illinois dealer plates from '86 for the Diesel, but when I got my first pick of "DIESEL" on my antique plates, that sort of went out of the window. Most of my registered MJ's have had vanity plates.

1 JP MJ

1TONMJ

DIESEL

The new Cherokee will be JP XJ on a police commemorative plate.

ive never been a fan of vanity plates. only people around here who run them are pompous a$$holes with stupid $#!& on there. i do however run the specialty plates (the ones with pictures on them) on all my cars. most states have some really awesome ones.
