huricane4 Posted January 8, 2014 Author Posted January 8, 2014 Well the CTIS system on the rear axle is complete and have been leak free for a couple of week :) Maybe try to upload a video later this week. Edit.. Did a deflate inflate speedtest. From 25psi down to 10 and then up to 25 again in 3minutes
huricane4 Posted January 12, 2014 Author Posted January 12, 2014 Some more Ctis photos.. Control Panel with valves, Buttons and Gauges, between the seats.

ftpiercecracker1 Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Are you F**king kidding me?! You even have a remote tire inflation/deflation system??? That is SICK! and whats that other CAD drawing of, the one thats not obviously a bumper? FPC
huricane4 Posted March 25, 2014 Author Posted March 25, 2014 Awesome! Thanks :) Are you F**king kidding me?! You even have a remote tire inflation/deflation system??? That is SICK! and whats that other CAD drawing of, the one thats not obviously a bumper? FPC Yes it is nice to inflate the tires from the inside of the car but most important is the Bragging factor ;) it is the backside of the winchplate, made some weight reduction pockets... Thanks for your comments, its nice with some replies :)
huricane4 Posted April 25, 2014 Author Posted April 25, 2014 Have begun to build a 4.7 liter stroker engine.Has drilled and honed the block and bought a 4.2 crank
Oddmodman Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Wow that's probably the sweetest Comanche I've ever seen. I always thought portals made so much more sense than regular straight axles.
AgustThor Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Hi, huricane4. Any more news on the CTIS, did you finish the front, twist the nylons off, do they keep the pressure etc. etc. :)
huricane4 Posted April 28, 2014 Author Posted April 28, 2014 Did some more wheeling today... Stone stone stone and more stones :) Dosent seem so hard but had to run fully locked to get through. Didnt manage to climb the hill, but did manage to flatten my exhaust system and destoying my rear bumper :) Wow that's probably the sweetest Comanche I've ever seen. I always thought portals made so much more sense than regular straight axles. Thanks Yes portals are nice! Too bad not more cars have portals as original equipment. I guess the only car that have Straight axle portals are Volvo, Unimog and Uaz Looking good! Thanks Hi, huricane4. Any more news on the CTIS, did you finish the front, twist the nylons off, do they keep the pressure etc. etc. :) Hi No, everything works as it is supposed to do and no leaks. I'll hook up the front axle when I have broadened the rims and installed them new tires.
AgustThor Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Nice, how much of a flex in the shafts end to you think the nylon "can eat" I haven´t checked yet the length there and perhaps it´s long enough to allow some flex in the shafts end.
AgustThor Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Have you seen how they do this with phosphor copper. I have been trying to find that info but not found anything online. Reason is I have a set of axles I'm rebuilding and I have to have the drilling etc. done on the shafts and I'm trying to evaluate which way to go.

huricane4 Posted July 14, 2014 Author Posted July 14, 2014 Some Photos of my first offroad-meeting with the comanche. Really fun and everything worked good, got some body damage on the rockers and bed so need to build some nerf-bar
