So, all of you who have recently had issues with Motion Offroad....this is Adam's comanche. he is obviously still alive, and attempting to sell his mj on ebay now.

 

 

 

just letting you know, he's around...and not to buy anything from him, least of all his P.O.S. mj that is over-priced.

sorry guys but damn, he lost his business, now he's selling his truck I think karma took care of him. I just don't recall this much animosity towards the guy when he was active on here.

 

I hope the CC community doesn't turn on me when I too decide to sell my truck, if and when the day comes. I by no means am defending his actions, but he did contribute to the site and information for various products. Damn I'm starting to sound like a bleeding heart. There better not be more changes like this in my life as I'm becoming a father.

He basicallh stole money from members here and elsewhere, and had not admitted fault. You don't know the basis of the issues here apparently. Accountability and willingness to accept responsibility. This is not the first company of his tgat he has done this exact thing with.

Most churches require that you admit your sins and then stop them. He has done neither of those things as far as anyone can see.

 

Sell your MJ and leave? No problem. Steal money again and again from members and never make it right? Problem. There is no comparison between the two things. And remember: he left to avoid facing his victims THEN tried to sell his MJ. He did not sell his MJ and then leave. Losing his "business"??? His business has always been a front for his lies and scamming if you follow the trail. Losing it isn't the same as losing a legitimate business. Karma had better have a bigger kick then this in store for him. I would love to see something involving bars...

Yep, agree with all of that Incommando, except you were too kind. His track record was well known and available to anyone who would care take a look over ay NAXJA or JU and posted by several of our own members. He was banned from several forums for lying and cheating suckers that bought his wares at grossly inflated prices. And also for taking credit for developing and selling products that he stole from the original designers. His religion is: Do others before they do you.

 

I don't feel sorry for any of the fools here that purchased products from him and got screwed as all the info regarding his character was readily available. Hopefully they learned a life lesson from it. When I hear "but he contributed to the forum" I want to puke. He did that on many other forums too before he showed up here and they all banned the jerk eventually for screwing their members. Good riddance and hope he doesn't resurface anywhere else.

I never ordered anything from his company. When they wouldn't tell me where they sourced their steel from. I also read that his company was unreliable, I was unaware he had stolen so much.

 

It's unfortunate that people try to screw people to make a living.

While the dead horse of Motion has been brought up, does anyone know by whom their house-branded shocks were manufactured?

I'm pretty sure they were made by the same maker that makes every other white body shock.

Nearly all of the white-bodied shocks used by about everyone are made by the same manufacturer and slapped with whatever house-brand sticker needs to go on them. IIRC it is Tenneco which is Monroe/Rancho???

Shocks are something that your average offroad company cannot engineer. Just like coils and leaf springs. Although those get ordered to spec.
