jakeWI
So I sold my jeep this past weekend because I have been wanting to build something different. I really wanted to build an MJ. Well after looking and looking near me, everything was rotted out crap. Drove to Racine this morning for a complete dive that the guy pretty much lied about the whole thing, thinking I might be some idiot. Anyway, I ended up picking up a 1991 Jeep Comanche Eliminator. Shortbed, 4.O, 118k, 2wd, shortbed roll bar, factory bed mat, original interior and clean: Within the nearest future I plan on converting to 4wd obviously. Paint. Then the real build will start to happen.

Alexia
I would leave it pink and drive it that way. :O
Abyx
I yelped when I saw that. I'd consider leaving it that color too....'just because'.

RockMJ
Hopefully it came with a set of stripper pumps in your size lol. Looks like a solid build and I saw your XJ so I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with this. Thinking you should name it "The Pepto Princess Build"? Welcome aboard :D RockMJ

RockMJ
I don't think anyone can argue a pink rig sitting on some built axles. It would be different thats for sure RockMJ
jakeWI
Got the donor 4x4 MJ home the other night. WIll get some pics. It is an '87 MJ MT. Trac Bar fell off right after leaving with it. Didn't know because my phone wasnt working while Pat was trying to call me following me back. Limped it to the closest hardware store which ended up being 15 miles down the road. Haha, awesome. jakeWI
Here is the donor that I picked up last thursday! 1987 MJ MT, 109k, disco D30, mj d44, metric ton, aw4, 231 and rusty as hell! Pat came with me to pick it up. Didn't know it and he couldn't get a hold of me until we stopped for gas to tell me that my track bar fell off the axle end! Limped it to home depot, sucked! But got it home after that!

JeepcoMJ
It's a go for using Kevin's car lift for the swap. 2 days max that each phase of the project can be on the lift. we can bring the MT out there and get it stripped whenever you'd like, he just needs a heads up so he can work other things around the schedule. it would be ideal to yank the engine/trans etc. one day and the rest the next just in case something random needs to go up on the lift. I've got a scrap bin to put the remnants of the truck in...it will be going straight to the crusher after we're done and have saved everything that we can. wouldn't be a horrible idea to start taking things off where it sits...interior, etc. before it goes to the shop.
