After i cut off the stock lower control arm brackets & put the new Rockrawler brackets on the frame rails, i could not drill the front hole on the brackets there is a peace of metal in the frame that catches the brill bite, so i had a friend weld them to the frame rails. :D :cheers: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

W/33'' 12.50s & 5.5'' of lift I have not got pulled over yet!. Butt two of my friends W/ Cherokees have. they say it is cowman to get fix it tickets from CHP for mud flaps. My MJ was also my first Jeep and my DD. Being a 2wd as well, I had planned to convert to 4wd, then along came desert racing and prerunner's and I knew what I must do :D . mj Mike Posted March 18, 2011 Author Share Posted March 18, 2011 how did u separate the fender i was thinking about pulling mine out but not till i get glass in the front i made two cuts, w/ 4 1/2 angel grinder, one on the in side of the fender well as far in as i could with out cutting in to the in side metal. the other cut was on the out side of the bed side. i traced the top line of the stock fender flair. you can see from my pics. dakineJNice build.
