jimoshel Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 I just gave away one of my MJ'S. Excuse me while I wipe away a tear. Actually i think it is in good hands and it is still in the family. My niece, my younger brothers daughter, was down for a visit yesterday. she's 14, almost 15. She has always showed an interest in mechanics and has helped me do something every chance gets. I picked out one that was rust free but kind a wore out mechanically. The deal is the truck stays here, she does all the work on it, I help where an when needed, I buy the parts needed and she pays me back with working around here, When she's finished and I'm satisfied with the quality of the work then she gets the title. I think it's a good deal for both of us. At least I'll know what happened to one of my trucks. Jim
pilotblake Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Uncle of year award right there.. Do you need any more nephews? I can provide the MJ, just need someone to buy the parts
maddzz1 Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Definatele a great uncle and a great idea. Support her in her interest and give her the help she needs to explore it.
Jerry Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Good man! You will of coarse being posting regular updates on the build as it progresses eh? ;)
Comanche County Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 But do you feel a slight hint of guilt for corrupting her, after all this could lead to a lifetime of bad spending choices on Jeep related items. I mean, if there was such a thing.
1990 Pioneer 4x4 Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Sounds like a good way to get some yard work done ;)
