thejeepguyonline
Just found this site. Its great to find people that are just as crazy as i am about jeeps. My mj was a 1987 stripper 2x4 4.0 ba10 5 speed road construction truck. its now lifted 7 inches with a very early tnt customs long arms kit, 7 inch rubicon front coils, spring over rear with blocks, dana 30 front, ford 8.8 rear, 4.56 gears, 231 xfer, proto fab front winch bumper, ramsey winch, hidden hitch recever under the fay rear bumper, bush wacker cut out flairs, 37 inch ssr's on alloy rims, tuffy console, xj buckets, and many changes done with mostly xj parts. as soon as i can figuer how to upload pick i will. thejeepguyonline
thanks figured it out hope i did it right. this is one of 15 jeeps we own but one of my favs. far from done still working out bugs. am running warn lock out hubs and found out they just don't hold up to 37s. am trying to do reserch on using grand cherokee spindles breaks and roters with the larger warn 5 on 5.5 hub setup. these are some older pics they don't show the hitch or the new er front non disconect dana 30 front with ox locker. Rymanrph
When I was thinking of paint choices for my MJ I thought I would hate yellow, but that looks pretty good. Have you considered blacking out the Jeep letters of the tailgate?

SW86
maybe a down grade to 35s would help with going through hubs. those 37s just looked cramped anyway :shake: Â great looking truck though!
btm24
What's that emblem on the drivers side fender below the "comanche" emblem? is it 4.0 liter? thanks  Brandon
thejeepguyonline
well the tires arn't cramped they fit fine. they mesure out at 36 inches even though they are advertized as 37 inches. the warn 5 on 4.5 hubs are only rated at 33 inches max that is the problem with the hubs. they were on the axle when i got it and liked the 30 spline shafts and ox locker so wasnt going to toss them till i found a better solution. once i finish my reserch on the grand cherokee knuckles and brakes i may upgrading to them with warn 5 on 5.5 hubs they have the same bearings as the full size dana 44s. or I will do a hybrid 30/44 as i already have all the parts to do that now. but i like the bigger brakes with the grand cherokee parts. and yes the emblem is a 4.0 liter. thejeepguyonline
Finally got some more work done to it; 97 mirrors, and valve cover. Speakers added using the stock mounts behind the seat in the side panels. And the cargo bed light and switch for it and the fog lights. Here are some pics.
