88pioneer
Haven't had much luck with either. A lot of people on here have access to factory FSM's and I'm sure they would lend any needed info
Automan2164
You can pick up a digital format of the Factory service manual for about $20 on ebay. I have the '92 Jeep FSM CD... Its a Chrysler Restoration Product, and is the exact same thing as the $100 service manual in PDF format. Rob L.
jimoshel
To me, the Haynes is Just a tad more on tech details. They're both mostly just a general reference, but not great on details. Follow Robs advice and go with the CD. Otherwise get the FSM.
Darren
My vote is for Haynes. I like the paper it's printed on better.

HOrnbrod
The Haynes/Chilton manuals are better than nothing, but just barely. On detailed electrical schematics, they are worse than nothing because of their generality and not keeping up with year-to-year changes. A model specific FSM CD is better by far, but nothing beats a hard copy full FSM set for your year/model. I hate working from a CD personally. But get the CD first, it's cheap, then check Ebay often as there are often good deals to be found for a complete set of FSM manuals. :D

Virginia
I've found a '90 manual on ebay. Is there much difference between the 90 and 91?

whowey
Haynes make a great place to put your doughnuts and beer down so that they don't leave water marks and powdered sugar on your workbench.
ComancheAssault
I once bought Chilton for the Saab worth $17 in an old bookshop. Then switched to FSM as suggested by a friend.
