Jeep Hurricane

12 volt

3 speed...high, low, reverse

12" plastic rock crawlers

toys r us

$500.00 with 2 year warranty

the salesman said i can drop it off a cliff in 2 years, take it to the store and i can get my $500 back to put towards his next buggy

my son is 2 1/2....i thought it was better to get him a cool jeep, cuz i already got 2!

don't let the 12 volt motor fool you....its faster than u think.

i just gotta get some rubber coating for the tires cuz the plastic tires spin everywhere.

oh yeah, if anyone wants that cj, or the mj just tell me and ill pick it up for u.

Thanks,

Paul

anyone got any ideas on how to put some sort of rubber on the rear tires so they don't spin as much.

someone told me to put scerws in it, (with big heads), but i think rubber will be better

thanks

Paul

Spray-on/roll-on bed liner?

Cruise ebay man, there is a ton of easy mods you can check out, and copy on your own... Like increasing the voltage to the motors so the thing does burnouts.

I found a Jtruck one and cruised the second hand stores for cheap toy trucks. Found an awesome one with Big Foot sized rubber (compared to the Tonka I have)

A friend of mine had a set of half bald MT tires. Cut out the tread, trimmed it to fit, and screwed it to the plastic wheels, Not the best solution, but a million times better than the stock hard plastic wheels.

ok i got the rubber bands from the above mentioned site.

they work great, but for $30 you'd think there would be more

than cut inner tubes and 2 bottles of cheapola epoxy.

the rubber even had rust on the inside of 3 of the 4

overall...good concept, but id rather cut up the tubes myself.

live and learn....
