STERLING STINGER Posted September 23, 2010 Share Posted September 23, 2010 Jeep Hurricane 12 volt 3 speed...high, low, reverse 12" plastic rock crawlers toys r us $500.00 with 2 year warranty the salesman said i can drop it off a cliff in 2 years, take it to the store and i can get my $500 back to put towards his next buggy my son is 2 1/2....i thought it was better to get him a cool jeep, cuz i already got 2! don't let the 12 volt motor fool you....its faster than u think. i just gotta get some rubber coating for the tires cuz the plastic tires spin everywhere. oh yeah, if anyone wants that cj, or the mj just tell me and ill pick it up for u. Cut out the tread, trimmed it to fit, and screwed it to the plastic wheels, Not the best solution, but a million times better than the stock hard plastic wheels. STERLING STINGER Posted October 1, 2010 Author Share Posted October 1, 2010 ok i got the rubber bands from the above mentioned site. they work great, but for $30 you'd think there would be more than cut inner tubes and 2 bottles of cheapola epoxy. the rubber even had rust on the inside of 3 of the 4 overall...good concept, but id rather cut up the tubes myself. live and learn....
