tazjeeper Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 well I found a great 90 wagoneer in a babybarn that was built around the jeep in 98. the owner and I unscrewed the doors yesterday for the fist time sence then. I bought it and am going to pick it up sunday... it is in great shape... I will take more pic's after I pull it out of the barn. as you can see its a tight fit and the pics I took are the only ones I could for now
tazjeeper Posted July 27, 2010 Author Posted July 27, 2010 Needs more 4BT. HUuuuuuuuuuuuuu????????????? sorry I do not understand 4bt what is that?????? and if u are saying need more to be true haaaaaaaa you will see the pic's when I pick it up sunday and frankly I don't care if you think its not true or not... I do not understand why you would think its not but what ever...
tazjeeper Posted July 27, 2010 Author Posted July 27, 2010 yes it is the owner took real good care of it.. it was alway under a cover inless they were driving it. I belive him as the car they drive now was under a cover. and funny thing is he had to pull the cover up a bit to show me that its a pt cruser and is almost the same color as the jeep with the woodgrain on the sides... LOL the jeeps has been sitting in that barn for years and they left the rear window down so they could git in it when they wanted to. you can only opwn the doors about 3" if that.. its a tight, tight, tight.. I did open the doors and the seals are great. no signs of animails in the barn or the jeep at all. I climbed under it the best I could. it all looks realy great.. I could not help but buy it....
MJRemi Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 That's a great find. I hope you did OK on the price and be sure not to back out into the support pole holding up the barn door  .
tazjeeper Posted July 27, 2010 Author Posted July 27, 2010 as for price let just say I did great... he sole it for the price of the barn..ahhaaaaahahhaaaa yeah that little pice of wood holding up the door was across the barn doors side to side and screwed into the doors and the sides to close it all up.. when I go to pick up the jeep I am going to unscrew the hinges from the top door and take it off out of the way... if I don't with my luck the door will drop and put a dent in the roof, make the windshild crack, scrap the paint on the hood and anything elts that could happen..LOL
tazjeeper Posted July 27, 2010 Author Posted July 27, 2010 well lits say way under a grand for price but I have to drag it out of the barn.. its on an Island that I have to take 2 boats to get to it. its about a 2 hour trip to go about 30miles from my house.. its about $40.oo to go across the boats... it took me 4 hours to go see it from the time I left my house and got home so its going to be an all day trip to get their and back. I have to take pics of the thing to show it off thats going to be a killer in itself.........LOL

Hell, its a full size, why not shoehorn in a 5.9 24 valve 6BT! Nice find. I had one the same color, same interior. Loved that thing. Most comfortabble vehicle I ever owned.

tazjeeper Posted July 28, 2010 Author Posted July 28, 2010 thanks and yeah their is just something about them that says JEEP when you look at them must be why Chrly stoped making them.. looked, worked better, more comfortable then any dodge..
ComancheKrazy Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 I agree there. I always liked their look. I just wish Chrysler never bought 'em out. It'd be cool to still have a Jeep brand truck being produced.
whowey Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Interior is exactly the same color as my 90 Waggy.... Enjoy rolling down the road on your leather sofa....
Comanche County Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Love it, I'd trade my 5.9 Limited ZJ for one like that.
tazjeeper Posted July 29, 2010 Author Posted July 29, 2010 Interior is exactly the same color as my 90 Waggy.... Enjoy rolling down the road on your leather sofa.... that is what I am hoping it feels like...
DodgeFan01 Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Nice find! My only question is why did they park this thing that long ago and box it in? Something wrong with it?
tazjeeper Posted July 29, 2010 Author Posted July 29, 2010 no its at their summer house on an island.. they were moving out of country for work for a few years and never opend the door till I was their to buy it.... the owner is sick and is selling the house, land, jeep over this summer and thats that.
whowey Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 Nice find! My only question is why did they park this thing that long ago and box it in? Something wrong with it? Mine is a 90 also. and only has 98k on the odometer. Same type of situation. Original owner bought it as a third/vacation vehicle.
