if its a CFC they may not sell it. that looks exactly like the truck i got a spare set of tails off of. was it at PaP in norcross?

that's the place, but that's not the truck. you're thinking of the other black-ish MJ there.

According to the Build Sheet I just Looked up...

Build Date Was April 16th 1992

In Service date was May 15th 1992

This truck has 3.07 gears and is a Rear D44 with Trac-loc

4.0L 5 speed Manual

Factory Tow Hooks

Full Skid Plates

Too Bad it ended up in the Junk yard Under the CFC program...

It's picked pretty clean. 44 is long gone. and that was the "good" side. the other side had a minor accident and shows signs of what i'm guessing is fire exposure on the fender.

I guess I feel slightly better that it was earlier in april. :dunno:

I know a owner of a crusshing yard, and I asked him why he wasnt going to get any C4C cars. He told me that if you don't dispose of C4C cars in a certain amount of time you were responsible to repay the rebate the buyer got. Since this yard wasnt a pick a part yard he makes most of his money buy selling trans and engines. Since engine are no good... there wasnt enough left profit wise for it to be worth it for him.

IN a local PNP there was a 24v CTD 1 ton truck, as well as a 01 tj Sahara. Both were pretty much stripped of everything but motor.

CFC'd!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

YUP  Some of the dealerships got creative in way to get ppl to crush rigs. I know chrysler was offering to double it, then some dealers were sugar coating that. So it was almost possible to get a car for nothing. Figure 9 grand off plus other incentives...wow sounds tempting to me now

IT just amazed me at some of the vehicles that CFC'd. I almost CFC'd my black SWB rig. It just missed the mileage by 1mpg. I looked at it as a buisness decision. I was all ready buying my wife a vehicle. It was a 2010 Chevy equinox, and of course I looked into it.. I only had 900 in my rig... so it was a good investment if it panned out.
