Before you guys ask about if I'm going to sell this stuff....i don't really know what I'm going to do with everything just yet.

So the story starts a couple of months ago when the local jeep/ford dealer went out business with the decline of the auto market. Today they had a final auctioning off of all their inventory in their warehouses which held thousands and thousands of parts and tools all of which had to be sold off today. Me and my dad went looking for the very few things we needed to finish the MJ, but we weren't very optimistic about finding anything of use to us. Well..............were we wrong! Things were going for dirt cheap, $15 for a stack of 5 Cherokee hoods still in the box, $40 for a stack of fenders, and boxes upon boxes of miscellaneous parts and pieces going for around $5 a box. I'll let the following pictures speak of the Comanche goodies we found..........

Yes your eyes aren't deceiving you, those are TWO factory MJ step bumper, one chrome, one black. $27 for the chrome one, and $50 for the black one plus those other three bumpers.

They both came with the mounting brackets, wiring for the license plate, and bulbs.

The three other bumpers we got with the black MJ one.

And if two factory MJ step bumpers isn't enough of a score for one day...........

Yes that is a longbed driver's side bedside. Has one small dent in it, a bit of surface rust, but other than that is in perfect condition.

The worst of the surface rust on it.

If you can't read that date, its 7-8-86....this thing was sitting in a warehouse for 23 years. As far as what we paid for all of this stuff it was a huge steal IMO. $185 for everything. $95 for the bedside, $77 for all those bumpers including the MJ ones. Would have gotten more stuff there but ran out of room in the back of the MJ. :fool:

That was like finding the Holy Grail.

:agree:

Wow......and, uh......Wow. Selling the chrome rear bumper? Seriously interested.

Sorry Wahoo, I'm gonna be replacing my bumper with the chrome one, and I do like the idea of hanging that bedside as a piece of art. :brows:

Still cannot believe I found all this stuff....but sure as heck glad I did. :chillin:

I think you should work a deal with Wade (89Eliminator) for the black bumper. He is looking for one, and to our knowlege, his green Eliminator has the last build date we know of. It could be the LAST MJ. He needs it for his project.
