BLHTAZ Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Cleaning rabbit cages and needed a place to dry the carpets that I just washed. My wife called me a crazy redneck; I thought it was quite ingenious. :smart: :rotf: What do you think?
Geonovast Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: That's somethin I'd do I didn't think it was all that great until I realized that you were using the actual winch cable.
HellCreek Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Awesome, Taz  Are you sure you're not from Mississippi? :rotf:
smithe1811 Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 The fact that hes using a winche for that is just the iceing on the cake, perfect :clapping:
BLHTAZ Posted September 26, 2009 Author Posted September 26, 2009 I thought ya'll would like that   I started to try to find a rope to tie between the two; then I remembered the winch cable :brows:
aemsee Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 yes it is ingenious, and yes, you are a redneck!
Wildman Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 yes it is ingenious, and yes, you are a redneck! Yea, a Pennsylvania Redneck :teehee: Just don't forget to unhook the which line before you go out for more rabbit food.
brdhntr Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 yep, you're a redneck. but i am proud to say, so am i. my neighbors all look at me like i'm crazy when i pull a vehicle on the grass to wash it rather than in the driveway. hey, i save money that way. the car gets washed and the grass gets watered. they also look at me funny when i park one of the trucks out front on the street and the next morning there's a foot of mud on the ground surounding it. then i just leave the mud and let the rain wash it down.
1990 Pioneer 4x4 Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 a bit of both i would say ( i wonder what your neighbors are saying).
BLHTAZ Posted September 27, 2009 Author Posted September 27, 2009 The neighbors got a good laugh out of it; they were outside when I did it :wavey:
freakjeep93 Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 injenious and quite redneck and somptying i would do good show :D

wolfpackjeeper Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 you use carpet for the rabbit cages? I tried that but he stunk them up too quick. I switched to that recycled newspaper pellet stuff. funny way to clean stuff.
BLHTAZ Posted September 29, 2009 Author Posted September 29, 2009 you use carpet for the rabbit cages? I tried that but he stunk them up too quick. I switched to that recycled newspaper pellet stuff. All of the rabbits are spayed/neutered and litter trained, so they do not make a terrible mess. We have to clean the carpets once every couple weeks or so. are the rabbits pets or food?Although I have had rabbits for food many times, these are pets. We are a foster home for the Gainseville Rabbit Rescue (Gainesville, FL). We currently have three rabbits of our own, and nine in foster care awaiting good homes. The ones we own run free in the house just like a cat or dog would. See our website at; http://www.HugABunny.net if you would like.
wolfpackjeeper Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 yea, mine is house trained and runs free during the day. He gets kenneled up at night just so we don't have to worry about the dogs playing too rough with him. Although he can usually hold his own without intervention. Our friends think its funny to see a bunny hopping around.
dakal Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 i used to raise attack rabbits. they went for the face. with a rabbit jumping on your face you can't do anything to defend yourself. an added plus they are stealthy... who would guess. :brows:
Lenard Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 i didnt know you could house train a rabbit......thats cool

BLHTAZ Posted September 29, 2009 Author Posted September 29, 2009 i didnt know you could house train a rabbit......thats cool :cheers:As long as they are spay/neutered, they are quite easy to litter train. Rabbits are very clean critters and only make messes to mark territory, but when fixed, they have no need to do so. Most of them are very friendly and love attention.
87Warrior Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Nice When camping in the rockies I use the winch line as a cloths line. String it up and hang dry towels or your passengers britches they had to clean because you had to take the "fun line" on the trail. Makes quick work as a rain fly for those wet evenings, just drape a tarp over the winch line and pull it taught. It is also a useful stump puller.
BLHTAZ Posted September 30, 2009 Author Posted September 30, 2009 It is also a useful stump puller. Yep, I have done that one before too
