So I'm perusing google image to find a picture of a gray 2 door 86 XJ to throw into my sig when I find this.

From some of the other pics it's obvious there's no engine, trans, or even suspension on this thing... but it made me cry inside.

Yep...that is jbhill's. He has a build thread on it in hte Project forum. It is an amazing job so far and a lot of heart & soul put in to it.

It's not something I would ever do to a truck, but I repect what he wants / likes and I am sure it will be a great truck when he is done

yup i cut up a perfectly good truck lol. its got an s10 frame and a 350 engine.it started life as a 2wd, so its not like a i killed a good 4x4 MJ...

It's not my thing either, but I like it because it's different. Lift an MJ? It's been done a million times. Slam an S10? Done a million times.

But an MJ laying frame stuffing 20s, you don't see that every day.

Yea, it looks nice laying like that. Is there any bed in there at all? Do you have pictures of the rear setup?

I want to get mine down about 3in to see where it sits. Get it looking something like this:

those look a little smaller but the picture title says 20's. I would like to fit 18's really well. possibly bigger, but 18's look nice on a lot of things.

That's right about where Baby is going to be sitting at; 3" all around. The front is already there and looking great still. The rear is yet to come, but all told, she should be sitting right around the stance of that one you posted.

I wish I knew dude, I would love to find some more info. I usually dislike nerf bars also, but they really do something for this. It does seem to be just about right, without going into the overzealous category.

my inspiration too, but it's ok, we can share.
