BLHTAZ
I have already noticed some changes  Any chance that we are going to get the YouTube add-on so we can actually post / stream videos in the thread instead of using links to go off-site? Qui Gon-Jinn
I will look into the youtube deal. I will have to check on some other stuff. Biggest thing I am having issues is a request to link back to the main page @ www.comancheclub.com That may be an ongoing deal. Off to check on youtube deal... BLHTAZ
The YouTube thing is sweet. I admin on another site and we had our webmaster load it. It allows the video to show & play right on the post just like embedding it on any website. It codes it like this... video url here Then there is no added load on this sites bandwidth as it is a stream

LOL I have been looking.. and it's rather heavy code to add.. I try not to mod code to much.. don't want to break this place :D
BLHTAZ
I don't really understand the "coding" end of the site which is why we have a webmaster over there. He said it was not hard at all and only took a short time. I was looking at THIS not too long ago, but I just don't understand...

BLHTAZ
Oh, and this has been driving me nuts for months, can you make links open in a new window/tab? :bowdown:Yea...for some reason when Pete upgraded the phpbb software the last time it started using the same window to open links instead of opening a new one like it did before. Now you haveto right click on the links and tell it to open a new window or tab.

Qui Gon-Jinn
I'll have to look into that. the change this weekend was more of a back end fix. Short term solution.. ( And what I do because I don't even think about it) Run Firefox.. and on your mouse.. Click DOWN on the wheel.. (Yeah it's a button there.. try it) Part of my every day job.. I have to check sites for issues.. and out of habit as I troubleshoot.. I use the mouse wheel click.. new tab.. and off we go.

Also Per Pete.. we have eliminated the "Common Word" threshold on the search. Give it a go.. report issues. back to my regularly scheduled day of trying to get 10000 things done and only finishing 2. BLHTAZ
The mouse buttons can be configured to make the different features work on which ever button you want. I have the magnify feature working on the little side button that used to be the "forward" button and the scroll wheel click splits up all of the open browsers in to little mini-screans on the monitor so you can see all of them at once. As for the links...it only takes half a second to right click and select open in new tab / window...you just have to remember to do it ;). Firefox is too much of a PITA for me...tried it...hated it. mvusse
I use a laptop as I sit on the couch. Touch pad, 2 buttons. No mouse, no wheel, no 5 buttons. Right click and move to "open in new tab" is a pain.
