  1. I'm in TN just west of Nashville.
  2. Front will be pass side drop. Rear will also be off centered to the pass side if it came from a full time 4wd.
  3. I run 37" Claws and i have nothing bad to say about them. They have performed great on every terrain i've put them through.
  4. Nope not since those last pics. But a winch and sliders will be added before to long. :D
  5. the AMC equivalent of the D44. Pretty ballsy axle. And drop out thirds are nice for gear swaps. They don't have drop out thirds.
  6. That's not gonna work. Even if it did the spring perches would still have to be moved. Your gonna have to either do some welding or find a MJ axle.
  7. You can probably get your answers here. http://www.ifsja.org/forums/vb/
  8. 4.0 and 5spd will have 3.07 gears. Dana 35 Dana 44
  9. Yeah i've bought gears and a mini spool from them before. They are great to deal with.
  10. Does anyone have any links to info on swapping a AX-15 to a AW4? I'm thinking of doing this swap. Thanks
  11. I thought the samething. I never thought about putting a fuse there since i had a stick. But i read that and tried it and it worked.
  12. Hey is Detours still making MJ sliders? I looked on their site and didn't see anything about them.
  13. Also check the "trans" fuse on the fuse box. Mine didn't work and everything checked out good. Then i read somewhere to make sure the "trans" fuse was still good. So i looked and there wasn't one there. So i put one in and they started working. Mine is a AX-15. Not sure if a BA-10 is the same. But it's worth a shot.
  14. No-slip is a lunch box locker, not a full locker. I've always got my lockers from ebay.
  15. I've ran 33" claws, and run now 37" claws. I have nothing bad to say about them. I do mostly mud and i have no problems with them clogging up. They clear out very easily. I've run them on rocks, slick rocks, loose hills. They have never let me down. They are smooth and quite on the road. They aren't balanced and they don't shake at all. My dad runs 33" Trxus mt's. They are a very good tire. Do well in all situations. They are very quite on the highway. I think they are the best bang for the buck tire. Another tire i ran is the Firestone Destination MT's. I loved those tires to death. Excellent in anything.
  16. Mine are 64.5 front and 64 rear. So far it's worked out perfect.
  17. He gave 2000 for it. He has the 33" trxus on his CJ right now with 4.2, 4spd, 3.55's. It does good, so i think the 4.10's will be alright for him. Plus i think i can get him the gears for dirt cheap.
  18. Sorry it's gonna get wheeled. :D But probably not that much. He has a 80 CJ7 with a SOA 33's and lockers that he's only wheeled 2 times in 2 years. People told me not to wheel mine too. I've wheeled mine pretty hard and haven't put a dent on it yet. ;)
  19. Last week my dad bought a 1987 Comanche. It's 4wd, fairly new Jasper 4.0 with header, AW4 auto,177K miles, ac, cruise control, bucket seats, full console with floor shift, d30, and a D44 rear with limited slip (non metric ton). It also has a chrome rollbar with 3 KC's, factory front hooks, drawtite rear hitch. It also has a cargo light (i'm gonna steal it shhhhh.) The rear has a 1-1.5" AAL. The paint is fairly new, it used to be silver. He is the 2nd owner. It runs and drives great. There's not a scratch or dent on it. His plans are around 6" lift, 33" Trxus MT's, 4.10's, lockright front and Detroit rear. Similar to the way mine was before the axle swap. What do you think? More here.
  20. 90 Eliminator 4.0 ax-15 np231 front leafs 4" YJ springs springover rear with 2" fullsize chevy AAL's around 8-9" lift total J-10 axles D44 front 4.88's and lockright crossover steering AMC 20 rear 4.88's and no-slip 15x10 Eagles and 37x13.50 Claws More here.
  21. Nobody makes a mini or full spool for a D30. I ran a mini spool in the rear of mine for a couple months. I didn't like it. Chirping tires, and felt like the hole truck was gonna snap in half while turning. Plus it eats tires up. JMO
  22. I've been planning on doing this since i did the leaf conversion. Where did you get the clamp?
  23. The trac bar was put in to tighten up the steering. It would have been fine without one. But i drive this alot so i wanted it tighter. The spring perches are right above the factory perches. Thanks
