  1. Hope I'm not too late. Pm sent.
  2. :jump: I've got the dvd's for all five seasons. :jump: You've been Sarged.
  3. Should be under the hood on a plate on the firewall drivers side.
  4. Sorry to go off topic but that was a referrence to Red vs Blue ep. 78. Here's a link, click this ,it's towards the end of the clip and the beginning of ep. 79. If you've never seen these, take a couple of hours to watch all the seasons. Very funny.
  5. Really didn't like my first answer so here is a link that will probably help. It also has alot of other diagrams. Wiring diagrams
  6. I knew you would be :D Just call dibs
  7. I have it on my mitchell's cd but it won't let you cut and past or export it to another document. If there is a specific thing your looking for on the diagram, I can look it up.
  8. I was going to snipe it at the end but was playing Halo 3 and lost track of time. Went higher than I wanted to bid anyway.
  9. Well I don't know about the full cluster thing for a pioneer package. Mines an 88 and it didn't have it or the chrome bumper and yes my vin decodes as a pioneer. I've seen others without the full cluster as well. Unless it's different for the 2.5's and 4.0's or between the 88 and 89 MJ's? As far as the swap from auto to manual. Looking at the pic of the you can see the boot around the t-case shifter which if I remember right was like that for a column shifter and if you also look under the column the little trim piece is missing. That's not saying that the column was changed but a good chance it was. And one final thing if you look real close, where the comfort switch is for the auto's you can see in the pic what appears to be writing were it should be. Or am I out to lunch on this. :dunno:
  10. Looks really good. Is it worth what he is asking? That's going to depend on you. I've seen them go cheaper in that condition but that's around here on the other coast. I would try to get him to come down as much as possible. Paying over book for a vehicle that will never be a serious collectors item is just kind of hard to swallow, but for us Jeepers it's not unheard of. :brows: Good Luck
  11. Should have read, "get the correct socket and try to remove the 9 bolts without snapping them off". I haven't done one yet that at least half of them snapped right off. :wrench:
  12. If your wanting to pay $1500 than offer him $1000 to $1200. He'll either laugh or counter offer you. If he laughs, then show him the bluebook on the thing and ask if he would pay that much over book value. Let him know if that is the original drive train that its going to need replaced or rebuild in the near future with that many miles. If he won't budge on the price, thank him for his time, give him a card with your name and number, and walk away. MJ's are not that hard to find in good shape on your coast. Another one will come along. Good Luck
  13. Well I was off by $2900. That's incredible. That's pretty much what they sold for new.
  14. One of the main things to consider is how the bench fits over the tranny hump. I was thinking of doing the same thing for awhile. Really liked the 60/40 bench in the Ranger, but because of the hump, it would sit really high.
  15. No way, I've sent you too much stuff already and you need the money for school. J/K :D I couldn't resist. I'll see if their still there tomorrow. I'm going to play hooky from work in the afternoon to head out to the JY. :brows:
  16. Thanks for the support. It's been slow, but I manage to FUBAR things when I get in a hurry.
  17. Thought I'd seen it earlier in the thread. Was thinking you changed to a different one when you said you had to get the OHC done. Looking good.
  18. Great job on getting it back on the road. I think a lot of people would have tossed in the towel with that cracked frame. Nice mod with the intake and interior too. Get that OHC done so I can see how to do mine. :brows:
  19. Don't know whether to :rotfl2: or :ack: on that last one. Pretty funny stuff though. :D
  20. I finally got the hood back. Pic's not that great with all the garage stuff reflecting on it. Will get some better ones later.
  21. It has it's moment's, but nothing to exciting most the time. Good prices most the time.
  22. Those mirrors look like they were an afterthought. "hey george, we forgot the mirrors. Oh well lets just use these." :shake:
  23. Well had another good day at the JY. Here's a few things that followed me home. :brows: Got parts from this. 88 lwb 2wd MJ. Tail lights with harness. Extra set of vents. Headliner backing so I'll have a backup if I screw they original one up when re-covering. And best of all, a really nice tailgate. Very straight with only surface scratches with rust. This is better than the one I just had painted for our project. :headpop: The only other thing that would have made this trip any better is if this would have been geared something other than 3.07. Yeap, D44 in a 87 XJ. Might still go back and get it.
  24. Found a 88 lwb 2wd MJ at the JY today and noticed this on the rear packs. Would those be considered helper springs? Also had some odd mirrors on it. These can't be factory can they?
  25. It's the same diameter but the connecting rod end at the pitman arm looks to be bigger. I looked up the part numbers and they're different between the 4.0 and V8's, but that don't mean much. Also where the steering stabilizer connects, it's shaped different, its not flat but at an angle. Not sure if that will make a difference. I've seen on other sites that some say that they are the exact same and others don't and some say they are an inch longer. :dunno: Just from looking at them they have differences. I plan on using it unless something tells me otherwise.
