  1. I've heard gas in the oil is very dangerous and could cause a explosion or fire. Or is this just some urban legend? :dunno:
  2. There is another MJ there two rows over in front of that one. The most I've seen there at one time. Not as nice, but may have something you need as well. If I could get off work I'd go with ya. I love that place.
  3. Wednesday is 25% off everything day. :brows:
  4. Wasn't trying to be an a$$, just a smart one. :D I was looking at the fact both are being sold as parts trucks.
  5. The one off Sykes Ave off VA beach blvd. The Bed was pretty much rust free and that dent looks like that the JY did it. Clean metal was showing.
  6. I did the whole jack up and spin thing. I still don't know. I only got 2 turns to 1. It's not the original axle and will be getting replaced anyhow but WTF?
  7. Welcome to the club! :D I trashed the ring/pinion teeth and bent the housing beyond repair with average street use. Keep the stories coming. Gives me fuel to tell the wife I need to buy yet another thing for the jeep. Good luck with the new job.
  8. Another set. Yours were just a little bit better than these. The lights are ok, one is missing the clips (as usual) and the center cap is ok however it has a small cut on it ( looks like someone thought you had to pry it off  ) I'm going to clean them up and they'll be ready to sell. I think if I remember right your way over on the other coast, could be pricey to ship.
  9. Not bad but, this one's cheaper. :nanner: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 43869&rd=1
  10. One issue of JP magazine has an article about the top stupid things to put on a jeep and that was one of them. :thwak:
  11. Had a good day at the JY today. First I came across a 2dr XJ with black interior, so these followed me home. :brows: From there things just got better as I came across an 86 MJ As a result, I had a very full TJ coming home Near perfect Tailgate  This one is a keeper. ;) Rear flares, tail lights, MJ seat brackets, Interior lights, and a horn cap. If anyone locally is in need of the bed off that thing it is in good shape. There is one good size dent, but it could be pounded out fairly easy. Once I get things sorted out in the garage full of parts, I'll be listing some of this in the classifieds. The black buckets, at least one tailgate( This one makes the 3rd one), and some other stuff will need to go.
  12. WoW. For a moment I thought I was on the Pirate board. Relax people  Just remember, there are always two sides on a coin and when flipped, someone is going to kick and someone is going to receive. :D
  13. Here is a thread that was started awhile back on this issue. It may help. http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/view ... highlight=
  14. Was the first thing I looked at. Appears to be a record collector. I also noticed no feedback from collectordan. Hmmm, will he get his money?
  15. :agree: Plus I believe you might try its military counterpart the M715.
  16. Here's a couple I found pretty quick. Maybe out of your area but just as nice looking and cheaper. http://westky.craigslist.org/car/377818946.html http://charlotte.craigslist.org/car/405396523.html forgot one http://yakima.craigslist.org/car/402525379.html
  17. For that price, did you ask if he would throw in the rest of the truck for free. :D
  18. That's what I thought today when the tire I ordered arrived at my house in a semi-truck. I walked out to the street as he opened the trailer just to see a very large trailer, totally empty with the exception of my tire. :rotfl2: The tire came from a werehouse in Texas and I was charged $19.99 for shipping. I know it didn't, but the thought of a semi driving from Texas, with one tire, just makes you smile a little. :D As far as UPS, well I had a part that hit 5 cities in the state it was coming from before it went to my state.
  19. The only thing that would make owning a treasure like that even better is if you were retired and tinkered with them all day long. :D X2 on looking forward to the pic's.
  20. This one is off a 88 mj, 4cyl, 4spd, 2wd, swb.
  21. If you have a tilt column, check to see if the bolts on the knuckle are loose. That is the reason I have my donor xj. The bolts came loose on the PO and he freaked out and drove it into a pole. The wheel still steers it just has a lot of play.
  22. Here's his ad on craigslist. You can see the money shot. :brows: http://youngstown.craigslist.org/rvs/377632710.html
  23. Cut and paste the string below in google and you'll get all that are listed on craigslist. Change the word or phrase in the quotations to find what ever your looking for. "comanche" site:craigslist.org It is a nice MJ but I figure you could get a clean one and make it that nice with less cash.
  24. Welcome to manche anonymous. Tonight we have a new member. Can you stand up, introduce yourself, and tell us why your here. Hi my name is Pat and I'm addicted to *sigh* manche's. I can't help myself. I go through one maybe two a month. They all just look so good I can't pass them up. j/k Pat. :D If I had more land or the nieghbors wouldn't complain, I'd have a couple stashed in the back. :brows:
  25. Holy cow. I had to uncover the scanner, dust it off, hook it up, and then load the drivers. I haven't used it in about 8 years. But anyhow here's a pic.
