As a Vet - I too share the opinion of learn our language.... BUT I can see where you are coming from, so while it takes a while to learn the language of jumpers, if you have access to a computer you can have them type what they need and have it translate for you. http://www.freetranslation.com/ I have been told the translations arent perfect, but maybe it will help.

I cleaned up the face a little and removed a bunch of crap... now I have a "custom" MJ, w/ tow front tow hooks. Hope you like it! I also should have a ton of updating as I work my @$$ off over the next two weeks to get the new rear-end, lift and tires on. As well as some other small stuff - like club requirements, haha!

kinda happened to me the same way, I was 17 and wanted to buy a truck... so I took my dad to look at it with me, and when we bought it, I went for his truck because it was an auto.. well.. he stopped me and handed me the keys to my manual S10... I could see him laughing all the way home in my review mirror as I learned how to drive stick.

My wife may be given in as well, just the other day out of the blue she told me to go get my axle and get the truck built. I too was blown away and needed no more encouragement. Must be something in the water? OR.... my other theory is: She didnt want to see me spend a lot of money on it, so it just kind of has been sitting... well she has been around me lately when people have asked how the truck is coming and I say as sad as I can, "It kinda just sits there, no money and time." I think I said it twice and a few days later, she is almost ordering me to go work on the jeep and buy stuff for it.... That is far fetched but whatever... I am getting parts and work done, finally!

spring over, I already purchased all the front lift components, I was just waiting to pull a rear axle before putting them on. Now I won't have any excuses. :) Are you SURE that I have to use new perches for an SOA? this is a trail only truck if it helps. Also was it comon for these to have limited slip on them?

I havent done anything to the truck in a while, but today I got lucky at the junk yard and grabbed a D44 from an 87 Cherokee Pioneer. Is this a direct bolt on? Or do I need to burn some new perches on it? Anything else I will need?

Nice! But, I believe you meant Tim (twisty)... as I do have 34's but they have never been bolted on the truck. Still waiting to do my lift. He is the one who just built up a nice truck.

If I were you (and this is what I plan to do, just because I am a wannabe redneck) I would buy the biggest tachometer you can find, preferably with a shift light, and stick it in your window. I have the same cluster as you do NOW. I originally tried to swap a full cluster in and that peice didnt work at all. When I swapped to the current one (the same one you have) everything worked. the full cluster that didnt work came of off (what I believe) a 2.8.... it didnt seem to want to work with my 4.0. My gas was always WAY WAY more than full, though occasionally it read correct, and neither my oil or temp gauges worked. They just sat in the Key off position. Anyway, if that helps, then great!
