  1. Ok you talked me into it! Are there any 6.0 builds on here? Or 5.3 or 5.7? Quick search and not much
  2. $500 for the whole truck. I figure I can part it out then scrap it and make my money back.
  3. Rusted out. That's why he quit driving it a few months ago. Body is trashed too
  4. What should I look for when I go look at this engine? Gonna try to start it on starting fluid. It won't run with no fuel lines but...
  5. I think I have a guy for tunes. Or he deletes stuff at least. Motor has 200k on it I figured I'd go thru it anyways and upgrade/plan ahead for more power.
  6. Any pros/cons to the 6.0 over the 5.3 or 5.7. I wasnt looking for a 6.0, it just came up cheap
  7. I'm not sure which tranny I'll go with. I'm buying the whole 1999 2500. Its possibly going in a 2wd Comanche. I can cut down the center of the front axle too I've been kinda watching Luke Burns' build with the truck intake still on it. But I'll probably try to make my own motor mounts. I'm a fabricator and made motor mounts on my other MJ. I can probably figure out all the wiring too. I'll probably make my own gauge cluster again.
  8. As in for parts or the motor?
  9. I'm looking into buying a 2500 with the 6.0 in it and putting it in a comanche also! Need tips!
  10. Itll be a few weeks still but I'll let everybody know and I'll start a for sale post on them .
  11. I'm actually not sure the best way to accurately drill the holes thru the bed... I just put my roll bar In there and drilled holes...
  12. I haven't messed with the adj. shackles yet. Or the flare brackets. And slider boxes? Like sliding shackles? I don't like the idea of those.
  13. Figured out prices. $130 shipped for roll bar brackets $95 shipped for seat brackets. Bare metal. We'll have to figure out a group buy or something because I won be able to pay for all these sets up front....couple thousand dollars between here and facebook....
  14. Might have to make a list of people that want them and might have to collect money before I have them cut. Because they have to be paid for before cutting. And I can't really afford to cut all these at once for you guys (at least 10 sets of each bracket, just on here. Facebook is another 10 sets or so). I'm still trying to figure out a fair price. Once they're formed I'll see about flat rate shipping and that will be included in the price.
  15. My set comes with 2 front mounts and 2 wheel well backing plates.
  16. Not sure on the factory setup. Mine use 3 1/2" (I think) bolts per side with a backing plate inside the wheel well
  17. Can we fix this to prevent confusion... lol
  18. I'll probably get with them. For the price, I don't think I could have it made at work. I'd like to have a kit drawn up and saved at work and maybe sold later. And I'd know what all is in it and I can modify easily at any time and have a new set cut out Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  19. Wheres this at?! Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  20. I'm thinking, after looking at the ironman kit, that I'll use one of those 2 barnes kits. Seem the most simple. Does barnes sell the coil kit too? Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  21. Well thanks! I'll see what I can do and if it's worth it. I'll be doing a 4 link of some kind in the front too Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
