  4. I hope you didn't take that the wrong way, like I was saying I thought you wernt able to do it or anything
  5. I did the swap on my 88 using a 99 dash and just used all the factory brackets and tabs off the cherokee and welded then into the MJ. It's not something u really want to do if your not 100% sure you can
  6. you should have 7 degrees negative caster
  7. That's my MJ. I only took 8" out of the box and it is a SWB. That's about the most you can take out if you keep the stock shackle location. Just had to trip the rear section of the frame to get the tail gate to open all the way
  8. what kind of parts are you looking for?
  9. I took about 8" out of my short bed and moved the rear axle back about 2".

  11. Well got most of it done now and It's time to put a bed on it but not 100% sure if I should flat bed it or throw the cut up stock bed on it. Would like to see some flat bed Ideas or pictures of some decent looking flat bed designs U or someone else has designed. Not reall crazy about the flat bed Idea becuse I haven't seen a design I like. What's yall's opinion?
  12. I don't have one but ai can take one for ya. I still haven't mounted a bed on my chief yet. U want a shot straight down?
  13. I have a set of 16" ford explorer wheels that I had on my MJ and they worked fine and cleared everything without wheel spacers. Interested in buying them? $100 for all 4 wheels.. tires are miss matched and would need new ones
  14. I have a steel dimond plate step bumper that has surface rust and a little crinkel that can be hammered out fairly easy. U come get it you can have it for $25
  15. Sounds like you have a plan there. Just stick with it and I can't wait to see some progress photos.
  16. U may be better off going to disc brakes or find someont that has converted and buy their old drum stuff. Not sure if they can still be bought brand new or not
  17. wwhat kind of shape is the Chief in?
  18. My 72 Jeep J2000 had the 5lug dana 60. It's marked 60-2 on the top of the diff it's not the same width at the comanche and the pumpkin has a bit to much of an off set to the right. Wouldn't be an option for ya. The closest your going to get to stock is 63 WMS to WMS and I believe that would be found in a dodge 1 ton van
  19. I'm in the same boat as you are right now. I don't know what I want to do for a bed. My tub is in great shape. Just bad sides. I would be interested in seeing what you came up with
  20. Thanks Rob, It's getting there. Just keep getting held up with the wwrong parts being delivered every time I turn around. I hope to have it ready to Roll with in the next week or so. THis is my slow time of the year at work so now I can really get busy with it :brows:
  21. I measured the shaft for you. It's a double cardon and it measures 31" fully compresed and 34" extended. Hope that helps you out.
  22. I will have the measurments for you Thursday
  23. Have you checked the ground wire at the rear of the truck? That's what grounds the rear portion of the harnass including the fuel pump. I had a simmilar issue and that's what it turned out to be
  24. Comming along nicely
