  2. i got a cabellas uni-fit realtree camo for a mid size bench and it don't fit (to damn big ) but it is camo and it is better than what was there .
  3. Which one's the Bogger? Duh... the big round one with all the bumps
  4. looks good  but seriously , how many different build threads do u got ?
  5. Yep , i was just down the road from them when i was at NTI but that was when their shop was just outside of town . my buddy that still lives there sent me some pics of it like a year ago telling me about it .boy do i miss it there
  6. I was just thinkn this morning about a problem i had with a ford van a couple years ago that was doing the exact same thing and it was a bad tps (voltage to high ) . i didnt think of as u said u replaced it but Cabz is right check the voltage first either with a scanner or just backprobe it at the tps , the voltage should be between .5v-.8v if it is any higher there is a problem . o and check it with the KOEO and the iac hooked up
  7. I got $35, just not $3500... the tranny in my Tahoe just dropped so there goes any "extra" Jeep Kaiser Ambulance money I got for a while... Wade well then what we got to do is take that 35$ to the horse track and bet on the horse that is ... wait a sec gambiling is illegal in cali , damn!
  8. 93 to 95 camaro 3.4 v6 is a direct bolt in replacement and is a big jump in performance and reliability. of course u could use the fuel injection that comes with the 3.4 and piggyback it on to ur curent wireing harnes but that may not be emisions legal , or u could ditch the problematic carb and upgrade to either a webber carb conversion , a holley 4v carb which will necessate the purchas of a edelbrock intake with the 4v top piece. those are just a few things that u could do u can also swap in a camaro 3800 and its super easy and all this other jaz but... . o and welcome to the club  and its nice to see someone else with the 2.8 (well it used to be a 2.8 :brows: ) mason
  9. and up the road from me...... i want it , i mean i need it . and 3500 is very reasonable except i aint got 3500 or even 35 for that mater. but always nice to dream, nice find by the way
  10. fyi the jeep 6 speed is the NSG370
  11. i have come across a few bad ecu's over the years and its always frustrating because its the last thing u would expect and it always comes after u have thrown some serious cash at the vehicle or at least alot of time in chasing wires. the one thing that has been comon in each of my bad ecu cases was i had no comunacation with the ecu either with a scaner or the traditional jumper wire test . my advice is price the ecu and if it is reasonably cheap buy it and give it a try , now i know throwing parts at a vehicle is not the right thing to do but when it comes to ecu problems there usualy is no better solution and at the least u will have a good known spare . if in fact u have done everything in ur power in trying to find this gremlin and yet to succed that would be next on my list . mason
  12. right on it looks like yall got a bunch done and did some good wheeling to , mason
  13. Hey wade#2 how was holister , i didnt see it till it was to late next time shoot me a pm ,( not to change the subject ) post up in the wheeling section if u want
  14. My 86 had all that junk aswell but it went bye bye just after i got the truck
  15. Ya i love donuts to, especialy in the manche as it does them so well . but i have to be carefull now as it sits so high it tends to want to grab as u can see in the vid . i talked to my budy at RightGear & Axle today and he said that a new hub is coming from milemarker on waranty so there is no out of pocket on that one but he neglected to tell me how much a spare is gona set me back but il find out later . hey CW do u get much flex out of ur rear shock setup, i mean does the angle iron flex ?
  16. I saw that two :brows: I saw that to :teehee:
  17. thats not a bad idea but well see. well i got it all done on friday and on the trailer to hollister but i still had to fill the front diff and put the front U-joint straps on once i got to camp. the truck performed great excepet for a broken driver side front hub but at least it didnt break right away , i got some video and "A" picture (of the truck out on the trail) because my buddy that came with me is a moron and can't manage to work a digital camera or get a good video to save his hide but owell :headpop: . well here is me sporting the CC hat this morning before we left in front of the manch this is my 1 pick, at the begining of jungle trail and here is the vids first one is me doing some donuts and the last to are me going through jungle tail http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=-vmVYJdRG8M http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=PAMZ9F7FdM0 http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=pk_kiecal_0 and a couple of the the tow rig and manche so that was my weekend , i got one more video and if i can figure how to edit/shorten it il post it , its of me breaking my hub on a hill climb.
  18. Well I'm sure cuting it close as i picked up my front axle today at 5pm and by 7pm i had the shafts , hub conversion ,new upper bushings, shocks longarms and wheels on it ready to role it under the truck tomorrow and after that i gota measure up for a front drive shaft and shorten one of the spares i got put it on the trailer wile crossing my fingers that all the lights work on the trailer. I'm verry excited though being as its been alittle over 4 years since iv wheeled the manch but sometimes life justs get in the way but owell. il post some pics later when I'm not tired
  19. from what i know its a yj that he had some super mopar performance 4.0 in it that was also running an AGR pump & ram assist , vanco hydro boost , 35" claws on trail ready beadlocks . the 30 is sporting 4.88 ,ARB cromos, tube seals custom dom/heim steering and the turdy 5 is the same . I'm intrested in the tires rims , axle , t-case , possible the hydro boost and pieces of the AGR.
  20. ok , i might be finageling some parts off this guy that were on his yj , year is unknown but it did have the 4.0. 1) is the clocking on the 231 going to be a problem with my ax5 i currently have ,the trans was a nv3550 i believe (the 231 has a teralow kit and a hd SYE) . 2) does the yj also have a high pinion dana 30 that would interchange with the mj (I'm only intrested in the internals , not the housing) more as i think of it !
  21. :agree: :rotf: :rotfl2: o i almost forgot :needpics:
  22. last weekend i got the front axle out so i could tear it down get it geared and toss it back in so i could go wheeling this weekend so I'm going to be cuting it close . it sucks having to work on the ground outside in the blazing heat (ya I'm spoiled with the lifts) after the teardown i steam cleaned it and started in on the little stuff like welding the inside of the LCA brackets and 1/4 plate skids today i started messing with the front axle shafts by pulling off the stubs and installing the new outers that go to the hub conversion kit and i got to make a new track bar mount (frame side) as the stock one is showing signs of fatigue and the turned rotors to fit
  23. do ur self a favor and get one of these catalogs , they are free and have everything u would need to fix that truck. iv personaly used them and the products are verry good . LMC TRUCK http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cb/t.aspx
  24. Got to work on the manch today so i can try to get it wheel able by sep 13. id been driving around with no rear shocks since i got it lifted like 2 years ago but it didnt matter since it wasnt drivable .but finaly got a chance to build the mount for them and get some shocks under it , what yal think. here is the design, it mounts between the rear x on the frame above the rear axel with the upper mounts welded on some of the welds , not to shabby i think and the finshed product and of course a poser shot just because
  25. Iv always used rtv or my favorite is "the right stuff" but iv gotton used to using gaska cinche and i recomend using it more than anything else . it won't weld the gaskets to there mating surfaces and makes clean up a breez and i have never had a problem using any of the above products aslong as u use them very sparingly
