  1. :huh???: In my experience...there is no such thing as a "ring gear spacer" and I would not trust someone to work on my vehicle that would even suggest something like that. I am sure you can make one, but then you are going to have to find some new, longer ring gear bolts to be able to mount it too...and that may be a challenge in itself. Good luck on that one as I see mass-destruction in your future if you go the spacer route... :ack:
  2. Replied... Quantity updated...
  3. Nope...as stated above, you MUST get the right ones from the dealership in order to make it seat properly. If you don't, you may get lucky and get it in the right position, but it's not likely. Even if you do, it probably won't stay and you will be stuck with a non-running truck again. Don't risk it...do it right and you will be thankful. The Chrysler part number is 6503520 That should be a bolt & washer combo...and, obviously, you need two.
  4. Quantity updated again...another one sold. Get in now if you want one. This is a very rare second chance for those that missed out on the primary order
  5. I'll do my best sir. Thanks for the leniency... :D
  6.  My God... I don't know what to say... You may not want money, but you surely deserve it. Money is the only way the legal system has of trying to make retribution for something like this and you will need at least enough to pay legal fees too. I know money can't fix physical and emotional scars, but it can help make the cost of recovery a lot easier. I am not saying to go after them and get rich from this, but you deserve something other than satisfaction that the incompetents get proper punishment. Ya'll will remain in our prayers
  7. The vacuum switch on the t-case has been known to stick enough to cause the light to come on, but not enough to engage the CAD. I had that problem when I first got the MJ and it happened on my YJ too.
  8. 8) Cool...I guess they didn't bust out ofthe box. I got bigger boxes this time and still had to do some tight packing on a couple orders...like yours ;)
  9. Sea World is only about a 15-20 minute drive from my house. Ya like my whale? I just made that for this post
  10. PM replied... Quantity available updated.
  11. That's right... Pete drove right up to my house
  12. OK...in order to fix the two mistakes I made, I have to make 12 more shirts. The printer minimum is typically 25, but she agreed to do half since I am such a good. long-time customer  This means that I will have the following shirts available for sale as soon as she gets them printed... 1 - Military Green Long Sleeve < Large > = $19.00 + shipping 2 - Military Green Long Sleeve < X-Large > = $19.00 + shipping 1 - Military Green Short Sleeve < Large > = $15.00 + shipping 1 - Military Green Short Sleeve < X-Large > = $15.00 + shipping Military Green was the most popular color in the orders and since I had to print tan on all of the 12 we are doing, I stayed with that. If you want one...PM me with your ZIP Code and I will respond with the PayPal / Mail info and a total.
  13. Move to Florida... :brows:
  14. 8) I figured you would be the first to get it. Thanks... :D
  15. You don't want 16.5" wheels anyway. At one point they were going to discontinue that size because of safety issues and people using them on 4WD rigs for rock crawling where they had to air the tires down to low pressures. The 16.5" wheel does not have an inner safety bead like all other wheels and when the air pressure goes down...the tire comes off. 16.5" wheels are meant for trucks for a reason...they are meant to be kept at a fairly high air pressure to keep the tire on.
  16. There are actually several threads in the Project forum on those jobs. This is a question that has been asked several times lately so the new & improved search features should bring up results for you  EDIT: I just tried it myself... Type "4 wheel drive conversion" in the search and you get quite a bit of info
  17. #1 how can I tell what year a comanche is? Get me the last 8 digits of the VIN or see if there is still a sticker on the drivers door or under the hood that you can still read. #2 i know that it is a comanche so it is automatically the best small truck to own but, is a 2.5L long bed going to be worth buying? If it runs good and is not rusted to death, then yes, it would be worth buying. #3 about how much should i offer so that i don't insult the owner? That is going to be determined by year, condition, running order etc, etc... Need a little more info to answer that.
  18. I thought it was M20x1.5, but I wasn't sure enough to post it
  19. The TPS would be a more primary concern for me in this scenario as well as the CTS (coolant temperature sensor). The IAC is most often associated with a high idle problem and not stalling...but, anything is possible. TPS test procedure is HERE CTS Test 1) Disconnect wire harness connector from CTS sensor. Test resistance of sensor with a high impedance digital ohmmeter. Resistance should be less than 1000 ohms with engine warm. The oil light flicker could be a sign of low oil pressure due to worn rod & main bearings or using a cheap / low quality oil filter like FRAM.
  20. On a Renix equiped Jeep, there should be a yellow label on the firewall behind the coolant pressure bottle that gives the metric thread specs of the oil filter. My wife is driving the MJ today so I can't go look at mine right now. The Chrysler part number for the 090 style connector is 53007563AB That is part #18 in this picture. I have been told that it can be interchanged as the threads in the housing are the same on either, it's just the threads on the filter end that are different...BUT...I don't know this for sure...
  21. No...the Renix 4.0L uses a metric thread. You can change the adapter to be able to us the 090 though.
  22. what are these? :fool: i might have to go to FL to see one :dunce: What ever dude... :shake:
  23. Rocks are for crawlin' silly Eddie... :teehee: Our tress are filled in with green leaves now and the grass will need cuttin' again soon.

Very nice Mark... She is the cousin of one of the moderators on the site that I admin.. She was supposed to be at our annual campout weekend last April, but he ended up having to go to Japan because of his job and couldn't be there so she wouldn't come either.
