  1. :agree: Had my gallbladder out in '91 because of stones. VERY painful...I couldn't even walk when the attack hit.
  2. :needpics: You knew it was coming... (the worthless smilie, not the storm) ;)
  3. That is crazy... I saw it on another web site a couple months ago and I still can not figure out how someone could keep driving with it like that and not even look underneath to see what was happening. :shake:
  4. Glad ya'll are happy. Thank you!!
  5. I tried the BoM searches for you...no info unfortunately. You are going to have a tough time finding out what they came out of most likely. FSJ = Full Size Jeep SJ alone was the body code for the old full-size Grand Wagoneers & Cherokees.
  6. I think one of the old Datsun beds with the little hooks on the outside edge would look cool!!
  7. Check with Motion Offroad or Hell Creek Suspensions. I'll bet one of those guys could help you out.
  8. :rotf: :rotf: I learned how to pack in the ARMY...grab it...stuff it...grab it...stuff it... They taught us that folding takes up more room  :rotf:
  9. You put a specified amount of them inside the tire when mounting it for balance. They are used in lieu of wieghts. Some people swear by them, but my experience has been that they don't work well at all. I trust the weights much more.
  10. I have seen a Ford Ranger bed on one, but nothing out there is simply going to "work" on these trucks. You are going to have to make it work if it is not an MJ bed.
  11. The t-case from the BA10/5 does not really bolt up to anything else without modifications as far as I know...BUT, I have not tried it and may be off on that one. I know it's a 21 spline input and there may be issues with input shaft length as well.

    MPG?

Yours should not be terrible Jeff. Our YJ has basically the same set-up and gets 17 around town.
  13. Got mine today!!! Very cool and nicley done  I'll post other pictures after I get it painted the way I want

    MPG?

    15-16 in town...don't do any highway driving with it. 4.0L, 4x4, 5 spd, 3.07 gears, 31" Swamper TrXus MT's
  15. :rotf: OH MY GOD could we have fun with a "caption" contest on this picture :rotf:
  16. You can get it cheap because it's junk and no one wants it ;) Leave it alone and find something better like an AX-15
  17. The ECU is what controls the injectors as far as I know. The ECU's do note fail very often in these trucks, but I have been told that if they do fail...it's typically in the injector circuit. I am not an electrical guru by any means so we'll wait for someone else to either confirm my suspicion or offer something else.
  18. I have it hosted on my web site as well and I posted a link to it in the DIY forum on here... viewtopic.php?f=9&t=12517
  19. Transactions complete...all shirts are gone for this time around
  20. Regardless of where you live...the 4.0L engine needs a 195 degree t-stat. Putting a lower temp stat in it does nothing but cause trouble as the t-stat does not help keep it cool, it's purpose is to make the engine heat up to the proper temp. The only thing the 160 stat will accomplish it to diminish your MPG. Looks to me like you definitely need a new t-stat and possibly a new MAP & speed sensor. Has your speedo been working properly?
  21. An AAL will not "cause" a leaf pack to sag...it lifts it. The problem is, whether the spring pack is new or old, the AAL is working against a lot of forces all on it's own. A leaf pack with an AAL in it will be a stiff ride and it will not last more than a couple years at best. AAL's are a short term solution and should never be depended on. So for all you people who ask about AALs, if your packs are in good or bad shape .... don't go for it! ...or at least be prepared to change them when they settle back down to stock height in just a year or two at best. :smart:
  22. ^^ Still have the two shirts above looking for an owner... ^^
  23. If you can find some MJ seats, it would not be a real big deal in your situation, but trying to do XJ seats will be quite a challenge as that usually requires cutting, drilling etc, etc...
  24. Good job... That is interesting info on the scanner
  25. There ya go...He could start making them up as kits and selling them with complete install instructions
