Giving up MJ's is hard, wish i would have kept the 88 i had at least. when its time i might be able to provide a good home for one, have to see how some things work out around here. by the way, for some reason i never liked the waggy tails til now.

That reminds me, i found a snap on 1/2 drive 21mm shallow impact stuck on a control arm bolt of a hyundai once. had some rust on it, but came off pretty easy so how it didn't fall off, i have no idea.

as a tech, i have lots of opportunity to do that, but somehow haven't done it much. however, in the last 2 weeks i had to replace a visegrip 7cr and snap on 15mm deep impact 3/8" drive. i know exactly where the vise grip is, so i might still get it back next time the car is in the shop, it won't harm anything there and might stick around til then, but the socket i've pretty much written off. on the other hand, a guy i worked with once opened a hood and found a snap on 3/8" impact gun laying on the frame. that's the best under hood find i've heard of so far, and the worse one to loose!

I was just talking to buddy in sacramento about that quake. he just moved out there about a year ago, so it was his first quake. he described it as weird, like being in a car but not.

to answer the original question... i had a nissan altima my wife went in the ditch with. wasn't her fault, semi driver even said he never saw her and she clearly had the right of way. after she got out of the hospital from being checked out with no serious injuries, i went and loaded it up on my tow dolly and stopped by my parents for a few minutes. i was going to haul it off to the scrap yard so i was taking out the stereo and the new battery, personal stuff, etc, but some other scrapper saw it when he drove by, turned around, and made an offer. i sold it before it was even "for sale"

the white or black plastic part, did you replace that with the junk yard icms or just the icm itself? its usually called the coil pack housing and looks like this: they often will develop a cross-fire that won't show continuity but will cause a misfire/no start.

well ended up getting third, which means the 18 piece set. watiting for them to contact me with how to get it...
