  1. if you have a stock engine then stock injectors would be ideal. you can get reman units from several online vendors for around 80 to 100 for a set
  2. that's not what the bible reads .also its in poor taste And if a man lie with mankind, as with womankind, both of them have committed abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
  3. Well my 1989 MJ 4.0 auto with D30 front AMC20 rear trussed & locked, and pit bull rocker 35" tires on steel wheels (100 pounds each), winch and hd bumpers, full tank gas, gas tank skid, factory roll bar and RC long arm system. and me in driver seat (210 pounds) is at 4100. . so for you to get another 400 pound would take a little work? I would say you will be under 4500 no problem. my Mj has be on the scales 5 times always within 100 pounds or so depends on gas in tank (full gas tank 4100)
  4. I love this part ...(sold they are going to scrap.open to all reasonable offers.no low balls. 1000 obo please) what does he think he will get in scrap? stupid. :laughin:
  5. Somebody did few years back can't remember..but as said already they would have to be custom made. I'm in the process, but I'm no pro fabricator..a body shop or custom car shop in your area may make them for you.
  6. are you using setup berrings? is so try more pinion gear ,(more gear to the ring), if you get more contact pattern ,you would be good , if not you may need to shim the ring closer to the pinion and reset depth. yes it can take serveral, many tries. if you can see that your already at the fat side of your pinion gear then you need to bring the ring closer and reset pinion.
  7. if you swapped all the running gear over then there will be no diffrence, i can't tell from your post waht ratio you have (d30/44.55 ratio) ..but if its 3.55? then 1800 at 65 may be correct. My MJ w 35" tires and 4.10 gears runs 2K at65 in 4th with lock up activate, if your getting 2400 thats about the diffrence you will see when the lockup coverter is not applied. so i would check that first. may be that not getting activated, may be wireing or the switch? the aw4 is 4 speed tranny hence the name, 4th gear is overdrive.
  8. Another option for aftermarket HD engine mounts Just installed a set of their 4.0l engine mounts in the MJ, very happy with the build quality and the massive rubber bushings used. and the price is one of the lowest. great product. http://www.ironrocko...ategory_Code=UP
  9. Yes that would. Be nice if. You put scans up for everyone
  10. very funny..and so true
  11. Whats the point of your question?
  12. nice. i have thought about picking one up and putting a 4.0 in it and small lift.you will have fun with that I'm sure
  13. Get the press, I use it for u joints also handy tool. the ball joints can go fairly easy or they can be a MF ya don't know till you get started.. but you can save a lot of cash doing it yourself. you will be surprised how fast the 400 becomes 600 to 800 at the shop after they mark up the parts.
  14. the only thing I don't like about the rc upgrade is the tranny bolt heads stick out and you have to drop the arms and skid to drop the tranny and TC. otherwise ive heard that everyone has goodluck with them. The tranny mount bolts are not exposed , that was addressed few months after they release the system,(3+years ago) and really how often do you plan to remove the tranny or case? really. I have upgraded my TC case once in 6 years. people always bring that up like most people need to remove there TC case every week? ha ha :dunno:
  15. How is the install on the RC long arm kit? very well made system Install was straight forward, on the Comanche you will need to notch the cab supports for the cross member, (Cherokees don't have these extra supports) its a great system i love it on and off road. great ride
  16. RC long arm system,6" lift. spring over rear on 35" Rockers
  17. Hello I ran short arm for few years without drop brackets. with dp is much better basically short arm is fine with dps. if you weekend wheel only you will be happy..if you want to get more aggressive wheeling then long arm is better imo, that's what I run now and love the system. if your doing lift on a Comanche for the first time I don't think you save much if any going short arm. long arm system I have from RC is a great system, the current gen system has the bushings resolved as i have them and they hold up .some people keep repeating old info. so if you looking to buy a complete system new then I recommend the RC long arm system upgrade with front springs and trackbar. you won't need leafs just do spring over that's what is done. do your own reading on the different long arm styles, you will find the y link setup is just fine and works perfect for all the use you described. don't get caught up in all the over emphasize styles. Call Jason or Jeff at RC and they will take good care of you. any other questions feel free to I'm

  19. oil change, brake pads and rotors, rebuilt the front locker.

  21. Hello Need a good fuel tank sending unit for my MJ. needs to be in good shape..mine has rusted tubes..
  22. changed oil and replaced track bar bushing.
  23. What jpdocdave said..... I have done new gear sets in 5 axles and can say you will not be able to get correct setting on new gear set with just the old shims. (now if you just rebuilt the limited slip unit and didn't change the gears then you would be ok. make sure you have extra crush sleeve for the AMC20 as you may not get the correct pinion pre-load your first try.
