  1. are you sure you did not mess up the water pump or may be it is your thermostat or both
  2. So you want to build a mall crawler for the most part. So your best bet is go SOA in the rear witch will give you about 4.5 to 5.5 of lift (is this right guys) and then lift the front to match the rear. If you do this you’re going to need-- I would say UCA and LCA longer shocks and brake lines. Also your going to need an adjustable track bars. I am running 33x12.5 on mine with spring over but there was a guy who just lifted his and he is still SUA so with this all said do a quick search and there is a lot of info on here. I am new to the whole world as well but every thing I just told you was learned here. So welcome to the Club and good luck. Here is a link to my build and the other guy I mention but this is just 2 trucks that run 33's there are guy that run larger. Just go thru some on the MJ projects you will find all the or most of the info there and in the tech and if you don’t find what you want then ask that is one thing that is great about this forum for the most part you are not going to get flamed for asking a question that has been asked before. http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/view ... sc&start=0 http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2205
  3. Ok bad ideal that what I thought but as motioned before I don’t have the money for a suburban yet and trailer so I will wait until the wife gives me my allowance back and then buy and bigger truck of some sort. Thanks Watson
  4. yeah i was going to go with a class 3 hitch and disc on the rear. Like I said its just a thought.
  5. Here is a thought I want to make my new truck basically a trail rig or almost street legal meaning that it can be drove on the road “legally” but not to far like 10 to 20 miles or so. Do you think my stock 4.0 2wd with an upgraded rear end and gears could pull this for like 100 to 200 miles on a trailer would be my first choice. Or second and I am almost positive that it could flat tow this beast. But flat towing is not good if I broke and axle or something like that. I was going to go with the 8.25 or the D44 so I don’t have to think about the spacers and what weight they could hold and so on so I the 8.8 is out. What are your guys thought? Watson
  6. http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Prod ... 01/c-10101 what do you guys think about this
  7. i am going to have to agree with Pete but from center on the axle to the top of the fender flare is 29" or so.
  8. i will go out after bit and get this to you and i am running 33x12.5x15

  10. lower the back of the tranny down so that you can get to the bolts
  11. that well work nothing better than a lift MJ or lower one if your into that i guess
  12. see cw build not say his is cheap but i think it might be what your looking for. i think he is running coil spacer and longer shackle in the rear. Or run ZJ coils and longer shackle in the rear would be a thought as well
  13. now you guys no that Eagle is going to go thru the roof with you guys cutting those spring perches up :teehee: Just playin Eagle
