78/79 rolling frame from a guy for $300 (D44 and D60 4.10 gears). TnT truss for around $400 shipped. RK 3 link for $525 shipped. S and W roll gage that is 500 plus shipping that for DOM the EWS is only 250 plus shipping. 36x13x16 TSL on 16x8 black steelies $1300(new) shipped My wife went thru the roof when see seen what I was thinking 3100 in parts in a 400 truck Plus I didn't add rebuilding the axles if needed. The front one will need new seals and every thing by the time I am done welding everything to it. My thing is I can get 4.10 gears for my D30 and 8.8 and buy the time I have the gears set up I am at 300+ so that’s why I said hec with it and am going with the rolling chassis. Plus I can get used tries so that will save me around 500 or so. I mean it’s not like I am going to this over night. I was thinking that I could spread this out over a year or so. So any input on this.

go to O Reilly’s and get a band clamp the really wide one for 1.00 and call it good. All it has to do is hold it over. Cheap and easy. -

33's with a 3-3.5" lift?
Rokhound replied to chicofuentes0224's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
i hope a bit ot trimming means fully cut the crap out of his rear wheel wells. must have been a two door cuz no way are you getting 34s under a stock 4door i retract my ealier statment Thats funny right there  Yeah that was the stock family wheeler RIP some guy need a motor for his XJ more than I need the XJ so she went down the road. But o well more time for the MJ. The front fender well as you can see what’s lift of them. That’s because the darn thing would not come off and the bottom of one side was not bolted to the bottom of the body and the front of the finder was not there so that explains the chop job up front and the rear will it need to happen soon or later. My plans where in the end to find a pair of baby swamper and let the wife wheel the crap out of it stock. Hec with that much wheel well opening I think it could of would have been a blast to beat on and that video of the guys beating the crap out of on XJ would of looked like a day at the park when I got done with that Jeep. And I am not saying I would go out and be plain dumb with it but I would of got the use out of it. Sorry for the hijack back to your trimming fenders I my self would say go 31’s and play it safe the guy I just sold 88 MJ to has 31x10.5 stock and no fender trimming and it does look great. And the wife’s MJ has 3” of lift and 31’s on it and it just look great so there is the real input go 31’s or even 32’s. Here is a pic of the wife’s truck on 31’s 3” of lift. O yeah one more thing it is 2wd. . -

yeah might have to trim the fenders a bit but you can do it -
I have this track bar on my truck and i am at 6" of lift or so the only thing that I had to do is redrill the whole at the axle for the bolt to fit. Here is a dumb question do you have the truck setting on jack stand or is the truck supporting its own weight. I had these issue when I had the truck jack up but when the truck was setting on it own weight I was able to get it to fit just right. hope this helps if any thing i will try to get a pic tomorrow i am heading to work right now.

you will love those tires and are you sure there not LTB's because my TSL's are 34x9.5 and my LTB's are 34x10.5 skinny tires rock just be carful not to loose the bead that is the only thing i don't like about them so far. What size rim are you running I am running an 8" wide rim for my 9.5's but when I get my bead locks I am going to go to my LTB's
