The floors are suprisngly good compared to the rust on the outside!! Is it just surface rust? What's the plan with the truck? Looks awesome! -

I finally have access to the shop again! Will be working on it tomorrow. And thank you ! So far I haven't found any rust anywhere except the floors which I will probably have to replace judging from what the underside looks like! -

so i havent got too much done lately. i have a tow reciever in my bumper now. I'm still waiting on my dad to move our bus so i can get the truck into the shop and weld my bumper up and start on the front. took it wheelin, got stuck at 11pm. have some pics ill post soon fixed some little things, dash lights, clock, aux cable insatalled, radio works perfect now waiting on my brother to put in his 8.8 then I'm stealing his 8.25 from his 98 cherokee!! then after chritmas comes the soa and 31s!! -
how did you get the doors off so quickly while wheelin :P

i rreallly like the paint. i think i might do something like that. mine is just primered right now and i don't want to spend to much doing a paint job. lets see a shot of the inside!

yeah that really gave it a lot of lift... I'm wondering if mine will be the same. is the first picture with the 4.5" lift coils in? also what size are those tires? -

That thing is interesting dude! Looks like a dune buggy and a VW thing had a love child haha! Specs on it? And welcome to the site! RockMJ thank you! it is basically. it has a vw 1600cc engine in it with the rear irs suspension out of a bug as well as the beam in the front, everything else is custom built by me! has all the lights, high beam low beam turn signals brake lights, fuse box and wheel out of an accord, bucket seats, warn 9000 lb winch, (soon to be on the comanche, will make it so i can swap it instead of having two ) custom sheet metal work by my dad and i. its a work in progress but hopefully it will be street legal soon

hey everyone I'm max and I'm new to the site, i have a build page going currently need more money to finish my projects! I'm 18 years old and in first year university here's my comanche and here is my other project built mostly by myself but with advice and knowledge from my dad.

I just read the entire thread you have done an amazing job! I'm new here and just got my comanchebut i plan on making it similar to yours! i noticed i did the same thing to my bumper too! I'm going to make one very similar to yours! thanks for all the pics.

started to build the new rear bumper i plan on putting a hitch on and making some heavier mounting brackets and tow points :jump:
