I cannot determine if there are actually any tools in that pic.

  7. So how many times a day do you hear the word "sustainable"?
  8. You are correct on the module installation Brent.
  9. Get it and just say that you are storing for a fellow club member, and come spring that member mysteriously dies..............
  10. To get the tips you just have to have two hats in the car, One Cards and one Steelers. Just make sure ya have the right one on :D
  11. :agree:
  12. Since this box is not a dual zone box this is a puzzler. How is the heat at the vent on her far side? As jeepco said, it could be due to the outer tube being off acounting for the reduce air flow. But not those flex hoses. I believe that they are just for the demisters and only flow air in defrost mode. If you look at Brents picture you can see that they hook on at the defrost plenum, not the main box. There are hard plastice channels that are hooked to the back side of the dash to go out there. (IIRC?)The air goes in the box, throught the evap coil then through the heater core. The blend door positions itself to control whether no air, all the air or just some goes through the heater core to be heated. Hence the term "blend air system". The blend door is vertical in the box, and the door for the dash vents is horizontal. I cannot recall if there are baffles in between the two like a dual zone system has. If there is you could have something in the box restricting hot air just affecting the one passage.
  13. Yup. That'll work.
  14. Could be a problem with the IAC. I'ld pull it out and clean the pintle and bore good and try it before I replaced anything else.
  15. Should be working. You lift them up at the pivot, slide the tab out and pull up. Thats it
  16. Like most MJ's , the foam in my bench seat it toast. But the cover (black ) is in great shape. Anyone ever restuff a bench seat before?
  17. Did the new stat have a bleed hole in it?
  18. I'm guessing you are a La. police officer?
  19. PCI modules do all have to have their own termination and bias. The PCM is dominate at 3,300 ohms, MIC at 2,400 ohms and all the rest are non dominate at 10,800 ohms. The DRB for PCI bus is non dominate at 11,000 ohms. It seems like DRB was dominate for CCD. I'm still looking for old books on that one.
  20. I would double check that new t-stat. Did you install yourself ?Also, start it when it is cold with the rad cap off. Look for bubbles. Could be sign of headgasket issues.
  21. Nice, I like that logo!
  22. I really just need that piece of paper. Had to pass on a couple nice corporate jobs after the last wave of layoffs because of no degree. If I pickup a few things here and there all the better. No way I could do brick and mortar school right now. I would never make class ( which was my biggest problem before . Since I'm on east coast time I can do my crap at 2 in the morning and still be OK. Not looking forward to the team crap. Our first team, one girl quit after 3 days. One dude is a lazy useless loser, so me and the other woman are doing eveything.
  23. 17 Years and Counting for me too... Business Management Degree University of Phoenix On-Line, One Class at a time, about 7 more to go... STAY IN SCHOOL KIDS!!! You will wish you had... Dude, we have to talk. That is the exact program I'm in. Just in week 4 of my first class, GEN300. They accepted 72 of my 135 credits I had accumulated over the years.
  24. I'm taking one online class at a time to finish up my bachelors, 22 years after leaving college  . Don't leave school early. It is way harder to get stuff done with a full time job, family etc etc.
  25. What emissions are you crimping off? And why is your post about a carb in the classifieds locked? Your truck has, IMO, the worst carb ever invented and the biggest reason the 2.8 is such a slug. I wouldn't waste money on another one. I bet you could find an adapter to install something else on there. How many miles are on it? They used that engine in all sorts of GM products and you can use a carb off one of those. I used a carb off of a 2.8 Citation on my 85 XJ way back when. Chances are you're secondaries are not opening up all the way, if at all, or the choke isn't coming off all the way. Good luck
