  1. This should be turned into your build thread and moved to MJ Projects. Great start to a build thread!
  2. All my bitching payed off, I found someone to go wheeling with on a Tuesday! And he has a Comanche too, go figure. We went out to Tilimook State forest (Browns Camp). I had a great time! I didn't get many pictures since Brenda wasn't there. But here are a few, Enjoy! Gene (Blue MJ) has a mint, 87 Pioneer he wants to start building to wheel with. He got it for $500 with a factory 44. Not too bad.
  3. I lost quite a bit in my turning radius with my waggy 44.
  4. I'm working on a Keystone light.
  5. Great..where can I redeem them? Pete of course.
  6. Lotgod you are correct! You win 100 CC points!
  7. I was really impressed with the T/C shifter "anotherjeff" made for his MJ. So I decided to do something similar with mine. I really like the way it came out. But at the end of the day its just another pointless modification for my pavement princess. 100 Comanche Club points to whoever correctly guesses what I used to make that shift knob.
  8. Where was that at?
  9. Get a new column from the yard or from craigslist. Easier and cheaper than rebuilding yours.
  10. Its an Allen Group Model 10-080 On-Board Computer Diagnostic Supplement - 42-000 series Digital Engine Analyzer. Wow, thats a mouthful. My Dad got it from the college a few years ago, and he had no use for it, so he gave it to me. Well I don't want it, its too big, even though it is pretty cool. So what do you think its worth?
  11. Going to a 3.4 is taking the easy way out. You already have a 4.3, and you said you work in a fab shop. A 4.3l in an MJ would be badass. Just do it already.
  12. Why were you in Portland?
  13. Can we stop now, this has become pretty ghey.

    what is your DD

You harass people on Jeep forms????? :dunno: :teehee: The money I get from Pete for breaking balls on here isn't quite enough to cover my rent. So while it is a source of income, I wouldn't say it's what I do for a living. Indeed, I thought it was funny. If it seems that my aggression level has dropped, I'll just have to step it up. You're probably right, I haven't recieved a ban warning in quite a while. And everything is going pretty good Rob, thanks for asking. Comanches and Cable, we have so much in common. Can you hook a brother up with a terminator tool?
  15. You plan on keeping that rear bumper up front?

My daily driver is a 08 Chevy 2500 van. Guess what I do for a living...........
  17. Thanks guys. I guess it'll stick around, I do like looking at it. All I ever want to do is go wheeling, but somehow I never do. :( FML
  18. Today is really the last day of summer and I had planned a wheeling trip with a friend of mine. Well that didn't work out, his heater core blew last night. So I'm at home pouting. The summer is over and I didn't go wheeling a single time. As a matter of fact, this Jeep has been wheeling in 4 years, back when it was all stock. I work weekends and have Mondays and Tuesdays off so finding someone to go wheeling with is hard to do. Plus I live very far away from any place to go wheeling. Lastly, my wife is pregnant so I figure in a few months it will only get harder to try and go. I don't even get a chance to drive it on the road since I have a company rig. All this has led me to wonder, why do I have this Jeep, why am I constantly working on it when there is nothing wrong with it, why am I trying to make it "better on the trail" when it will never see one? Maybe I should ditch it and get a new project, a Wagoneer, or another MJ and keep it stock, maybe a TJ. What should I do? Follow the link in my signature if you aren't familiar with my Jeep. :(
  19. I vote Chief. This one is the best in my unbiased opinion.
  20. I like it. But you won't need bushwackers for 31's. Bushwackers are for marks anyway.
  21. I did some hardcore modification to my Jeep today. I plugged my new ipod in and tested it out. It works great and even displays the artist and song title on the screen of the deck. What a sexy install, I'm so amazing. I also tinkered around and checked everything out for my wheeling trip this Monday. I can't wait.
  22. DO NOT PUT A DANA 35 BACK IN THERE. (That was in caps because I was yelling it.) Dana 44, Cryco 8.25, or Ford 8.8, any one of those can be had for <$200. There is a reason it broke.
  23. Well, how was the trip?
  24. Yes. Plus I hate laying Dynamat down.
  25. I just went to the site. I'll give it a shot on my next project. Thank you for sharing Sam.
