  1. Oh baby.....
  2. I actually bought an Isuzu 44 to match my Waggy. The shafts are thicker than the XJ/MJ 44 then neck down at the splines. As far as the width goes, 57-60" depending on the year, the later it is the wider it is. Some of them even came with a real cool looking factory diff cooler/cover. I bought mine for $65 dollars on half price day at the yard. I sold my truck before I had a chance to use it though.
  3. You're a girl? Prove it, I want to see some pics.
  4. Just saw this today. Congrats man.
  5. Welcome to Comanche Club. You ever been on NAXJA? We've got a pretty active group in the PDX area.
  6. This is what comes to mind when I hear tough-truck. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tough_Trucks
  7. Damn, when I clicked on this I was thinking it was a Comanche tough-truck build.

    danggggggggg

ASL is structured way differently than American English. I've read before that you are deaf, but I guess it had slipped my mind. I am sorry for what I said, it was very rude and inconsiderate. I may be a smartass but I wouldn't ever want to personally attack or offend someone. Don't let my ignorant comment keep you away from this club.

    I do not like it.
  12. Ok they're only Semi-progressive. Stuck to the coil perch and to eachother with muffler mender. I wonder how they'll work.........
  13. The rear leafs are pretty long and do flex well. if you plan on keeping the bed There's really no reason to ditch the leafs. You might be able to get more droop out of a very well thought out link setup. But that's a lot of work for just a little more down travel. If you're ditching the bed, then there area lot more reasons to go to a rear 4-link. Like changing the wheelbase and 90* departure angle. As far as axle wrap goes if you plan on keeping a low center of gravity then keep your rear axle spring under that will help. If you're really worried about it you could always add a traction bar.
  14. not really. at worst he's got to hit the firewall with a BFH to get room for it, and swap the hood, front crossmember, and outer radiator supports, then drop all the 4.0 stuff in. you guys make it sound like a big deal. it's sheet metal...easy as pie, spot welds are simple. Maybe I'm reading his post wrong, but to me it sounds like he's trying to do a 97+ swap with a 3.1 or 3.4 V6. Sheet metal was not what I was worried about, I was talking about the difficulty is trying to mate the 97 and V6 harnesses.
  15. I don't see a point in linking the rear if you plan on keeping the bed.
  16. If you want to do a 97+ swap, you'd be way better off staring with a 4.0 or better yet a 4.0 HO. Doing the 97+ swap with a V6 would be a lot more work than it'd be worth.
  17. I want to see a poser flex shot with the plow on.
  18. n2Jy90PDiSA Real product by the way.

    Its my birthday

:rotf: I love the "Billy Badass" expression on your face. On your 21st you should take the same picture with a beer in your hand instead. Happy Birthday kid.
  20. The only thing you expected from your post was stupid remarks from jackasses in Oregon? Then why did you post it? To say he comes off as "such a loser" is quite a stretch. All I got out of your little exchange is that you need to chillax, it's the internet dude. A lot of people come to CC to see pictures of MJs (myself included) so don't verbally assault someone if they want to see a few pictures of your truck. You should take it as a compliment that some "jackass in Oregon" wants to see your truck. There's probably only a handful of people that give a $#!& about your truck, don't go thinning that crowd.
  21. Look in my build thread. I took quite a few pictures when I did it.
  22. Get over yourself. 4.0 MJs are not plentiful in most places. For most of us, we just can't "go get a 4.0 MJ". Well first off, I won't ever get over myself, I'm just too damn cool. 4.0 MJs are not hard to find. The only justifiable reason to swap a 4.0 into a four-banger or V6 is if you had done a ton of custom fab work to the truck, i.e. A cage or rocker replacements or unibody stiffeners. Something that can't be removed. I'm right and can't be convinced otherwise.
  23. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=26629 My advice in that thread is the only good advice. :smart:
  24. Not another one.............
