After a couple of years the first thing I would have done is pulled the tank and cleaned it.

I couldn't get power to mine even after replacing the headlight switch. I ran a complete new circuit and included under dash lights.

I read more here than I post. Every thread here where someone has stated that they completed two or more tasks or projects at once without starting or checking the first project has had a no-start condition. I'm a simple man........one thing at a time. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=34370

Turn the key to run. Jump the starter at the solenoid. Turn engine off. Repeat several times. If everything is normal this will determine that the problem is in the starter circuit.

Sounds like the fan has too much of a current draw........IOWs it's on it's way out.

A couple of years ago I asked when I was at the shop that does my emissions testing. I think their estimate was $600. That was just for labor. I'll be happy to do them day after day for $600 and I'll include parts.

I posted some time ago about you guys installing these crappy OReilly internals...........never learn I guess. I just talked to a guy locally last night who is selling his MJ and he told me he already installed two of these this year and it went out again........tells me to bring a trailer............screw it, he can keep it. I found one advertised with a 304 Jeep engine and Dana 60s. Is there a connection between IH and Jeep? What's the value of Scout? any cult following and demand? Thanks

I've got an AX5 sitting on the bench waiting to be installed, the synchs in the one in my truck are fading. I'll likely use Lucas oil additive and then top off with a 20/50 this time around.

After owning a couple of XJs I started looking for a J10, they are either rust bucket, trail trash, or out of my price range. I chose the MJ for the ease of parts swap and availability of parts. I also like owning something that not everyone else owns. My last truck was a Ranger, 12 years since new and 249K miles later I decided to part with it. I'll now own nothing but Jeep.

Yeah, I was 21 once too. You ain't in the boy scouts now. You are about to carry and if you carry you also carry the possibility of having to kill someone. This is what a good instructor in the context of your carry permit will prepare you for.

One suggestion- Take at least an 8 hour course with a minimum 200 rounds on range. Make sure you have an instructor that will actually teach you something you don't already know. Ask around.......then ask around some more...........find a good instructor. Remember those silhouettes are not charging you with a knife and you are not fighting for your life. On the FN, it's not for everyone and yeah the ballistic nuts have their complaints......however......it'll put a hurt'n on ya. And the felt recoil is equal to a 22, super accurate, and the 20 rnd mags are nice nice nice. Spare mag and you carry 40 rounds.

you need to ad anp90 to your list so you're able to share ammo to your carry pistol. How tight of groups can you hold with it? I wanted to pick one up about 6 years ago, but now it seems they've almost tripled in price. It's been a while and I had a pic of the last group but I can't find it..........IIRC about a 3" consistently at about 80'.

The wire itself is a fuse........fused link. The wire runs from the post at alt to a circuit breaker and then to the battery.

Check your fused link. Check your grounds. One dead cell in a battery is a current black hole. Bench tested? I've them bench test good but not charge, same with batteries. I put a new alt in that lasted about 3 weeks........swapped and upgraded and been good for a couple of months now.
