I second or third or quadruple that comment on saving up for a nicer kit. In the long run you'll be ALOT happier, plus if you decide to resell it, you can get more money for it... I'd recommend Rubicon Express all day long. Absolutley beautiful parts and the install was really strait forward. :cheers: No experience with motion's stuff but I'm sure it's up to par too. ;)

:banana: Because I loooove beating dead horses, I just have to say Rusty's own brand products are absolute crap. There have been countless breakage reports on NAXJA for YEARS. Infact, they get mad at people when they bring it up, because it's common knowledge over there. I just searched for a picture of one of his control arms snapped in half (the guy was unloading his XJ off a trailer :headpop: ), but the link was broken... I couldn't imagine that happening for 2 reasons: #1 because you would expect a part like that to be strong (especially an aftermarket peice) and #2 because I don't have a trailer to unload my junk off of :cry: I guess we can all unanimously agree to not buy Rusty's brand stuff? From that picture it's hard to tell. Can you snap another looking absolutely strait? I don't think if there was a gap there that it would make the noise you descriped. I could be wrong. :roll:

My 2 cents (which is really worth less than that :brows: ): Seems expensive and looks kinda silly. I'd rather rattle can it and keep it smooooth. Check out Lead_Not_Follow's build thread here. He did a really nice job on it and I think he was saying it only cost him around $30 in paint. It would be easy to touch up and hell if you didn't like it, buy $30 more of spray paint and start over. If it's a 3 peice you'll have to replace the entire back glass. They are factory sealed and there is no way to get a new slider in there. I had the same problem and made a new slider out of clear plastic. Cut to fit and then bend it in. From a distance you can't tell the difference, but it doesnt seel out moisture/heat/cold very well. Best part is if you lock your keys in the cab you can punch it out and grab em' (depending on how much of a contortionist you are, and ofcourse where the keys are in your truck :brows: ) Yeaaaa :nuts:
