  1. Even if he picked it up tonight we will not see pictures. He will need a good day or two of staring at it before he has time to come on here and download pictures. I can only assume he has set up a cot, or hammock in the confines of the garage. He will probably eat and sleep with in view of the beauty for a couple nights, or more.......
  2. Here are a couple others I have recently painted....
  3. Here you go, but it will not get you back on topic. Its RC season and I have been painting lexan with my airbrush. Here is a shot of the belly pan while painting it for my Centro...
  4. The Garage Queen? It just seems to sit in there these days....lol (I did drive it yesterday to go pick up the bumpers for the XJ from powdercoat). I don't really have a name for the MJ. The old green XJ is Buffy, The Yukon (tow rig) is Marsha...
  5. My front and rear Hanson bumpers just got done at powdercoat. I'll post up a picture soon. I plan to get them mounted up and then add a couple things to the tire carrier before it goes to powder. Bumpers look great, however the Hanson rock sliders look like they are going to be a real b*@$£ to put on. The pinch seam pieces don't even come close to lining up with the sliders....err.
  6. That is Seth's MJ. He is on here, I think his screen name is Set76 or something like that. It has a full conversion, Dana 60 rear, 44 front. E-lockers at both ends, 5.13 gears, 37's on H2 wheels that were custom powdercoat/painted, Also has crossover steering and a custom front 4link/ panhard setup. Leafs in the rear, Bilstiens on all four corners. He is running my old front bumper and winch as well. I am helping him with a rear bumper right now and bedsliders like the ones on my MJ. After those are done we will build some sliders. A 4:1 case and he will be ready for some wheeling. Its a very nice rig, and he did all the work himself.
  7. Love the ad....but some bad news for the guy...seats down and a blanket and action can surely be had in the back of an XJ...
  8. Haha, Perfect amount. Took me awhile to get the suspension dialed but it works great now. Limited to what you see there. I should have unhooked the swaybars, limit straps, and aired down for the ramp and won the competition. NEXT YEAR....
  9. Beautiful truck. Love it!

  11. I wish you were closer, I would offer to paint that up, I think it would be really fun.....I dabble in airbrushing....
  12. I would happily buy one of those pins off you. My starting bid is $25.......+ shipping to Washington state.
  13. Hmmmm, I been wondering if these would ever come. Now just to find someone doing a valve cover that says 4.7 rather than 4.0 in aluminium!!
  14. Ya the biggest things are the lack of the upper body line and that instead of the hood being taller in the middle, its taller at the outside edges. Just showing a cool drawing, I don't think it has anything to do with "Jeep". I do not see a Jeep pickup coming anytime soon, especially with the JK8 crap they gave us for the JK. What a waste.
  15. I have not received my trophy from last year. I did however, talk to them and they got my info and said they would check into it. I like this one better, last year I won in a specific category, this year I won overall for the whole show. Interesting side note...they had a raffle as usual, I bought some extra tickets and was pretty excited when I won a $250 Metal Cloak gift certificate.....well until I opened it and actually looked at it yesterday!! Its a $250 off on a purchase of $499 or more. That's crap for a raffle if you ask me. Its not really a donation to the cause (trail systems for this event) if your only giving away your profit at best. Cheers to Fast Specialtys, Bushwaker, and the others that actually GAVE AWAY products in the Raffle.
  16. Those are very interesting. Nice to get sliders and stiffening all in one. I plan to go with welded chassis stiffeners/bracing over bolt on ones. I also specifically only considered sliders that bolt directly to the rockers, to keep my clearance at a maximum.
  17. I spy coils in the rear :)
  18. Thank you sir, pretty stoked considering its a true wheeler. There were some nice rigs there this year.
  19. Great drawing/rendering of a Comanche....
  20. Finally got going on starting to pile up the parts to put the '01 together. Ordered up Hanson Ent. Front bumper, Rear bumper and tire carrier and sliders. I should have them in a couple weeks. Still need to decide on what rear corner guards I want, what route I will go for rear disc brakes on the 9inch, and if I will buy or design the chassis stiffiners. Also, I won a gift certificate for Metal Cloak at the NRR show. I will probably run there front dual rate coils. Still deciding what if any of the old suspension will be used. Need to get a winch as well still, and some other odds and ends. I will probably pile everything up before starting the actual build up... 21. Went to the NO ROADS REQUIRED show at Portland International Raceway on Saturday. I brought home the GOODS! :)
  22. They can haul more than an XJ, get better milage, have a convertible top, and actually has more storage space than an XJ too. Price, well ya on a Rubicon. Honestly though you can get into a X model 4x4 4 door pretty cheap.
  23. Um...hmmm, Yes XJ (with 44 rear) above MJ in my opinion. Also, I do understand were on a Comanche site, but just no way you can have the MJ get 2 spots.... More important is that you did not mention the TJ, LJ(kinda mentioned with cj8 etc.) or JK rubicon. Sorry but for there weight they offer a lot. Especially the 10th anny JK. 4:1, lockers, steel bumpers front and rear, legit tow hooks, a nice tow rating, GPS,and seating for 5 (that is damn capable and worth its weight). I know many have lived the life of a mall crawler, but so many other in your list did as well.
  24. That trailer is AWESOME! Great job.
  25. Were heading out from Olympia about 9a.m., If anyone is coming through from up north let us know....
