  1. Wes and I talked and thought about it a lot. Its just to dang ugly to add one. I felt that with the slider welded full length of cab, the tub gusseted full length under fender to the cab and the fact that the A pillar/firwalls all unibody and all part of "frame" that it is strong enough without it. I'm sure you noticed the excessive triangulation and support ons rear cab hoop, that is to make sure head are doesnt deform on a big roll.t I may add a tube from just under fender up to the coilover/crossbar area down the road if I see any flex from cage while rubbing trees or something of that sort. The cage will be plenty stout to protect in a rollover, worse case would be some cab damage. I hate exo's with a passion, but I love my lady and her two kids...so its to protect themand me so I gave in, but just can't give in to a ugly lower bar.
  2. Hey whats your rpm's at 60mph!!??!! 4.88's n 33's!
  3. Suspension is getting pretty close to being dialed in. Jeep drives great down the road. Hope to make time saturday gor a little offroad testing before heading to Fordyce.
  4. F U TOO ;) Thanks, and yes the attach points are reinforced (similair to how the front coilover hoops are (plated)). Wish I could pick up your Mj for a dd. So clean!! GLWS!
  5. Copy away, I'm not the first to run them behind fenders :) Keep in mind I landed mine to slider that is welded full length of cab into rockers AND are tied into "frame" area under cab. They are also tied into length of side of firewall as seen in picture. If your sliders are bolt on or just tied into "frame"area I don't think I would trust this design as well. Cheers, J
  6. ...one VERY TIGHT exo cab cage :wrench:
  7. Spent the day at Wes's. Buddy Luke came and helped out as well. While Wes got the cage going Luke and I shortened the rear a little for proper tuck in fenderwheels, worked on rear anti-rock, changed front coils, raised rear ride height, adjusted coil stops, trimmed front fenders some and dealt with some other odds and ends. Wes got most the cage finished and welded up and put his awesome idea of using a factory antenna mount on opposite fender for my cb worked out. Tomorrow will be little more support stuff for lower a pillars to firewall, putting cage back in and a crossbar for rear coilovers. She is almost ready to head to fordyce on the 1srt of the month.

  22. Interesting to comment on a technicality of the printed info. Its not like the funds are gonna get diverted. But since you found it so interesting - All the “Humane Society’s” are independent non-profits and some are more worthy than others, in regards to support. Some of us, who are accustomed to giving, realize this. BTW, there still isn’t a “washinton states humane society”. Agreed, and between the two of our banter people now hove clarification beyond ...." there is no washington state humane society" ;) Being a giver, I wanted to make sure people realized there was no scam in the print, just a honest mistake, $ is going to good causes.
