  1. Haha, Wes is awesome. He is great and has had the time lately to plug along on this for me. He obviously has mad skills and all the cool fab tools, i knew this progression for my truck needed done right and was beyond my skills. I'm starting to realize how glad i am to currently be on a 6 day a week work schedule, both to afford him and to stay out of his way!
  2. Nick, pics i already posted show most everything. Cut along pinch seems to keep as much structure as possible. Filling in inner fenders is not done yet. Ill try to give exact angles if i remember angle finder. Continueing to finish gussting of brackets and then on to coilovers and bumps. Here is progress pics from today....
  3. 3 link and track bar. So upper is on passenger side. Keeping tank /skid setup as-is.
  4. Its there. Tucked way up under grill. :D. Just have not put the winch line on yet.
  5. The frame is cleaned off to start rear suspension. Got parts back from powdercoating today.
  6. Got material for tow points today. There welded on and bumpers and tie rod and draglink as well as engine cross brace are off to powder coater.

  8. Pulled bed to start rear today. It will be complete though, will not even be using bed i bobbed. At glance it will just look like a lifted comanche. Ive decided i really want to keep this truck full bodied. To nice to truggy/chop/fiberglass/ or ruin clean original shape.
  9. Really want to see how these look lit up. I really like there 7 inch round ones. These don't look as cool turned off.... The rounds are about $250going per light, wonder if these will be that exspensive too. http://www.truck-lite.com/webapp/wcs/st ... &langId=-1
  10. I remember you showing me those. I suppose it could have been in the back of my head. Was really about leaving open to reach winch lever and being similiar to rear. I do like those bumpers uniqueness, but that pointy one has horrible tow point locations for approach. I like first for xj/mj. Second would be cool for a new tacoma or a colorado with the sharp angles.
  11. Those seats are amazing.....
  12. It will get a small bit of tube to protect the grill and mount the LED lights. Then its finished. The small hole on left side of fairlead is for the winch controller plug.
  13. If i didnt live in Washington! If i lived in Cali or Arizona I would. I love bare metal.
  14. can't seem to get clear picture of winch to motor clearance, ill try again tomorrow with some added lights. here is pics (thats what matters...lol) questions, just ask. Tearing bed off tomorrow to start rear.
  15. I did consider that, but didnt like were i would have to mount my anti-rock if i did.. so, considering that i would only have gotten a couple extra inchs out of a lot of work. Dang you.......Exxon . Just had to make me go all the way...
