  1. sorry but this is kind of a after and current. was stock, doing 97 exterior
  2. i have an arb in the front of my zj. i like being able to select open/locked. ive looked a little into the auburn ected. disengaged its a limited slip, engaged its a locker. the arb,ox,and ected are quite a bit of money but for a dd personally i would like to be able to turn when i want without issue, then lock it up and go play
  3. fenders bolt right up but the flares won't match the rear of your mj. I'm just going to drill a new hole or 2 and put the mj/pre 96 xj flares on the 97 fenders. you can use your mj hood, but 96/97 xjs have different part numbers for hoods, measurments were the same so dunno whats different. if you have buckets seats you could grab the center console/brackets. you could probly grab the whole dash tho it would be an hr or 2 taking it out, and sell it to somebody on here. if i were you id grab everything since its so cheap, and re-sell it to make a few bucks. it should have the 29 spline 8.25, and a hp dana30, either the np231 or 242?. I'm sure some cherokee guys might need a new hatch if its in good condtion...
  4. do you have the fenders notched so the exo can fit with the doors on or what? looks pretty clean

    PLEASE HELP!!!

auto's are expensive to rebuild. i got a couple quotes for mine around $2000-2600, then found a guy that owns a tranny shop to rebuild it for $1100 under the table. and that was with me pulling it out and taking it to his shop. for $2000 i figured i might as well buy a brand new tranny but convinently they are no longer made and with the dealerships database they only found one or two brand new ones in california. not sure if i should reccomend this but if you know somebody who has real experince and the right tools and knowledge (or service manual) with there help you could rebuild it in a CLEAN location yourself and if done right save a ton of $$ and gain some experince. the rebuild kits were less than $200 if i rember right. but do it wrong and not far down the road youll be stranded and rushed to get it fixed right.
  9. thoes headers can be a bit pricy around me. i got to off ebay and spent around 250 shipped each, then i found a nice one in a wrecking yard and got it for 120

    Gas-Hay

Beer: cheaper than gas, drink don't drive
  11. if hes taking it to the crusher offer $75 for both doors. my driverside window motor was like 70 or 80 i think. get the doors seals (not nessary but alot better than the pre 97) and youll need the striker plate latch thingys. theres a little write up in the diy but u can look at that after you get them. edit: now would be a good time to grab the pwr window cross harness, or atlest cut off the connectors inside the cab if your goin to make your own wiring.
  12. i have to say jeepcoma had a much more intelligent answer than its sort of self explanitory. a little info is what i was goin for. no biggie tho everyone likes to throw there 2ยข
  13. yes sorta..do you own one or know anything about it?? its a muzzle loader/revolver. look at the shell in the trigger, looks like a 410 shell. now i could be wrong, but thats why i was asking. thanks for the smarta** reply tho
  14. killer truck man. i put hood vents on my xj and that helped alot creeping in the heat

  16. thoes pitbull rockers look awesome
  17. other than mj's what are your toys? here's my 97 zj and my 96 jetta
  18. lost title and hes needs it gone asap. id take $400 to the door step and ask for a notarized bill of sale. when people need things moved fast cash in hand works wonders. looks good from far, doesnt specify motor, had bad starter and eletrical problem. 900 WITH a clean title with said problems is over priced to me, but i search for desperate people that need cash and offer bout half lol
  19. I'm more interested in the air/fuel ratio. simple math tells me my mpg
  20. pretty much the afr guage just shows you what the motor is doing, hornbroad said it was helpful in power vs economy driving. i was just curiouse as to how helpful it was, as in how much or little throttle was applied to drive and get the best ratio. i don't know what the economy guage your talking about is
  21. 4x4 isnt bad conversion, good choice on the swb. not a fan of long beds :ack: you goin to keep it pretty stock or what?
