  1. try out this site, its awsome: http://www.the12volt.com/relays/page2.asp you can also wire it up to a fuel pump wire so when its set the fuel pump will not run, no fuel, no stealing. Jonathan
  2. mine is the same way, I sprayed everything that moves related to it and replaced the throttle body. I may have to go the ghetto way of putting a helper spring to bring the throttle back to idol. hopefully someone can pipe in with a more perminant solution. Jonathan
  3. if you do decide on a garmin, i know that if you go to walmart and stoers like that they will most likely have them cheaper then your best buys or circuit citys. the thing is that they have a lesser version of their software on it. basicaly walmart said "hey garmin i want to sell this gps for this price, make it happen i don't care how" so garmin said here are your units with pooier software. just so you are aware. Jonathan
  4. I got myself the Garmin Street Pilot 340 last black Friday, when I brought it home my mother said where is hers? So I ended up getting her one also. I love it, and she does too. I wouldn’t go with any of the models lower then the 340 the main thing that you get is a text to speech feature. More or less the lower ones will say “turn right in 300 ft” so when you are driving there could be 3 roads on the right and you have to have really good reactions to turn when it tell you to. The better ones will tell you “turn right in 300 feet on to Main Street” it just make it a bunch easier to fallow. When you go up from there you can get things like Bluetooth, mp3 player and picture viewer. Most of those things I wouldn’t use so I didn’t bother to get them. Garmin really seams to be the brand that sells the most, it’s the easiest to use (my mother can use it) and it seams to be the most accurate (though every one will have its off moments). The only thing that I regret about it is not getting a Nuvi model which is slimmer than and not quite as bulky as the street pilots. But for me I don’t really care that it’s a little bulky so it’s great for me. Oh the other down fall is that if you leave the suction cup mount on your windshield for a long period of time it bonds to the windshield and you have to take it off in chunks and with a razor blade. So after the first one I just take if off all the time and reattach it when I need it. Hope this helps you out. Jonathan also if you get it at a retail location, really think about the extended warranties. I have seen them help out a lot of people.
  5. i have yet to see a matchbox sized comanche, i have a couple 2 doors and thats all i have seen. i do need to start buying up some of the old jeeps form ebay though. let me know if you ever find any. Jonathan
  6. read through it all, i wish i could have been involved in his tales in some way, it would have made for a good time. all around good stories, love, nacho cheese, crying emo kids and trannie hookers, also a comment about pulling a Hummer out of the mud with a jeep. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Jonathan
  7. 2 Guys 1 Cup http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/26050ea6ee this one is safe, and you can get the idea of what the original was about seriously its a parody with John Mayer
  8. Did the rugged ridge kit come with all of the parts needed to install it? Does it seem to be pretty heavy duty? it did have everything it needed, just no stearing stabalizer. there are some pics at the end of this page they are not the best but its something. http://comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopi ... c&start=30 it does seam like a nice kit, pretty beefy.
  9. i have the rugged ridge on my truck, as for how well it works... i don't know, i havent really driven it after i put it on. as for ease of putting it on... well me and my brother in law did it, and it looks right. . i have to get some time to get it down to fix the ebrake and have it aligned before i can take it driving at all. hope you got at lease a little help from this post. you can check my build thread for some pics.
  10. can you explain whole truck? do you mean WHOLE TRUCK, to do you mean whole truck?
  11. In the process of being lifted. First trail ride:
  12. post up your gamer tags, we could get a few comanche club games going some time. GATSU 1 <----thats me Jonathan
  13. in order to post up pictures, you have to have them hosted on a site like Comanche Club Image Hosting that way everyone can see them. it looks like you have a link to a photo that is stored on your computer, but we cannot access files stored on your computer. like if you kept your comanche in your garage and told everyone to come take a look, but the doors are locked and there are no windows to look in. in order for people to see it you have to bring it to a truck show so every can have access to it.
  14. I pre ordered mine at a local game stop, i went and go the elite edition. we should get some games going sometime Jonathan

  19. if I'm correct, and remember, in the movie evolution there is a scene where they are running through a parking lot heading into a mall and there is an XJ and behind it I'm pretty sure there is an MJ
  20. awsome, thats all i needed to know, now all i need to do is get my torx from work. Thanks Jonathan
  21. I changed hoods on my truck with my parts truck, the one on my good one was dented in where the hinges attached and that in turn killed my cowl. so i changed the hoods, and the new hood latches don't work correctly, one doesnt close and the other doesnt open. can i swap just the corner latches out? or are the attached perminatly? Jonathan
  22. when i press the gas then let up to shift, the throttle stays on a little, i have replace the throttle body so that shouldnt be what it is, has anyone else had this? i don't think its the throttle cable, when i push the tb valve open with the hood up it still sticks, do the throttle linkage get gummed up? i tried spraying everything (that moves when i press the gas) in that area with pb plaster in hopes it would lube up but nothing. i also checked the pedal, it moves freely so i don't think its the pedal its self. thanks, Jonathan
  23. sorry, let me explain: jackle18 is my brother in law, his name is richard, i know him as Dick so to make it easier i will say: here ya go Rich Jonathan
  24. here ya go dick
  25. the stearing in my comanche that is. what may be the cause for the extra play in my stearing? i replaced the drag link with a rugged ridge crossover stearing kit but i can still swing the wheel back and forth like a little kid pretending to drive, and yet I'm still going in a straight line. anyone know what may solve this dilema? Thanks, Jonathan
