  2. How much higher is it in the front?
  3. That color is awesome. I wouldn't want to use it as a truck if mine looked that nice. Can't wait to see if finished...
  4. Congrats. And yes, pics...we need pics.
  5. Like those, but I like the gamblers, too... :D
  6. We like pics. Looks like you're addicted.
  7. 1. ZJ V8 Upcountry Coils = 1-1.5" lift and 10. GM fullsize pickup shackles ('95-99) = 1.5" lift, better shackle angle Will net an inch (or so) of lift on an MJ?
  8. Yeah, welcome. But we like pictures. Need to see your MJ...
  9. Looks like a human cooler to me, but I would think it wouldn't last very long. Neat idea.
  10. Wife took some cool pics tonight. Here is a sample...
  11. Almost everything is fixable. Looks like your frame is, but you have work to do. Good Luck! :wrench:
  12. Had this discussion on another thread. If you are flat towing and you have 4X4 NP231, you can flat tow it with the transfer case in neutral. My father -in-law used to do this all the time with his comanche. Towed it behind his camper back in the 90's. He had a tow bar and wired it up so the tail lights worked with the camper. I actually had the tow bar on the truck when I got it, but I tossed it. It attached under the bumper to the bumper mounts.
  13. I'd get one of those mothers polishers that go on a drill. I have one of them. Looks like a big pink ball. Get some mothers aluminum polish and go to town with the drill. They won't look perfect when done, but you will be amazed how it polishes them up. Did that on the wifes TJ and the Ranger when I had it. Shocked how good they looked when I was done. Especially the TJ rims because they were over 12 years old and were looking bad. They looked almost new when done. You'll have to spend at least 15min to 1/2 hour on each rim. Good Luck.
  14. Good platform to start with. Check those floors under the carpet before you say no rost on it anywhere. enjoy!
  15. :agree: that's about what i got mine for
  16. Mind out of the gutter, dude. ;)
  17. My wife made me a cupholder for the truck. She is awesome.

    SCORE!

Added a couple of eye bolts to it and put the only comanche emblem I had on it. I think it added a lot...
  19. OK, so the wife made me a cupholder out of wood. She is great!!! I added the sticker. :D Then I added a couple of eye bolts to the new toolbox and the only comanche emblem I had to it. Picked these stickers up a few months ago just put them on... Couple more poser shots. :clapping:
  20. I asked about what it was because there was no 96 comanche. Someone needs to explain to me how having the transmission and transfer case in neutral will harm the transfer case if towed. As I said, my father-in-law towed his around all the time when he had it. He bought it because it could do that. He actually left it in park (automatic) and then the xfer case in Neutral when he towed it.
  21. A 96 what? Cherokee, I assume. One of the reasons my father-in-law bought the comanche back in 90 was so that he could flat tow it behind a motor home. He did many times. You can't do that without a tow bar though. Drivetrain on the Cherokee is the same. So for a tow dolly, Parking brake off. Put the tranny in Neutral if a stick. Put the transfer case in Neutral. Strap it on and be on your way...
  22. Check your local bone yards?
  23. 2 things. 1. Not to be an a-hole, but try some punctuation. I had to read your post 3 times to finally get all of what you said. 2. The problem is most likely the starter. When it gets heat soaked, it doesn't want to turn over. After cool off, it works better, no? If that is the case, then most likely the starter is weak and needs replaced. Good Luck!
