Can Spell Comanche (2/11)

  1. beautiful truck. exactly what i want mine to look like when I'm done...... so how much have you put into her at this point?
  2. Truck looks awesome man.... Did u have to lengthen your driveshaft for the lift?
  3. Just finished the entire thread U got an awesome truck man....i wanna do alot of the stuff youve done. Its threads like this that make me wish I had taken up welding. It really is bitchen how much no money work can be done with the skill of welding
  4. So if I find a complete d44 is it a simple bolt on swap or are modifications needed and if so what kind.....once again ill prolly stay with sua unless the d44 is already soa.....is it?
  5. Ur really helping alot manche kid I appreciate it.... I was only planning on going as large as 33s...and at this point I'm leaning more towards just 4.5in sua lift Do u,think I should still try and swap for the d44 if I'm only gunna do 33s and stay sua?
  6. Wow thanks manche kid But I still have a few more questions IF I do the soa, should I just swap to a d44 and if so is there a certain year that,is,best? Also what are the differences between soa and sua? Is there a difference in preformance or something? Also ur truck doesnt look totally level, is that just pics or does the front end sag a bit?
  7. How much u think that should run me and can u recommend a lift? Should I do the soa or no? Whats a trackbar Tell me everthing I need to know
  8. What r ur guys thoughts on the ranco 4.5 inch lift kit. Looking for the same as op....a dd that has all around skillz Id like to fit 33s as well but I'm not quite sold on the soa.....curious what the pros and cons are for soa or no soa? Also if I were to get the 4.5 in lift with 33s would I have to replace the d35 And antidisestablishmentarianism is a oem lift and why is it so good? Whats the difference between rough country and oem?
  9. So should I buy a 4.5 or 3,inch rough country lift? what thing will I need to do/worry about from lifting it 3in and the difference compared to the 4.5inch lift I don't plan on doing any CRAZY 4wheeling but I do camp alot and go to the desert so id like have a reasonable but practicle for my needs lift...... I'm leaning towards the 4.5 but if I do that won't I need to upgrade the drivetrane a lil? Help me out guys Dana 35 btw
  10. As promised.....better late than never Before: After: New winshield: And a full shot just for fun:
  11. Doesnt look level at all......id like to just lift the front end up to level it out for now cuz I won't have the money for a lift tires driveshaft and dana44 for awhile. Noticed one of my tires has a leak from the valve stem so I may have to get tires before anything....kinda good but mostly sucky
  12. Alrighty....not much of an update but went to the junkyard today and scored some headlight bezels and side markers as well as some emblems... also got my winshield fixed. on the 30th I'm gunna get a new rear bumper, a leveling kit or get the floorboards repaired. Not sure which is most benificial. I know I the floorboards seems like the obvious choice I just can't wait to make it look how I want and right now it doesnt. A new bumper or leveling the front end would make it look a lot more "me" I guess. Anyway pics tommorrow
  13. Do u still have the fender flares? If so how much for them?
  14. Looking buy a set of fender flares for my 1989 comanche If u got em let me know and ill buy
