The guy finally got back to me! If it werent for my wifes birthday today, I would be picking it up after work lol but tomorrow should be the day. He said that it was having problems starting, would take a few tries so he changed the CPS. After that it started and idled well but wouldnt drive further than 1/4-1/2 mile. I hope between the two MJs I will be able to sort everything out since they both have the same motor

Theres a guy in the club I'm in that has a v8 WJ on 35s with variloks. He doesnt beat the hell out of it but isnt scared to give it some gas when needed

Found another comanche for sale nearby. Its in a lot better shape than mine is and I'm contemplating selling mine and getting this one. It has nice bucket seats, AC, cruise control, power steering, slider window, tail lights and not beat to hell or rusty but said he started having issues driving it after changing the CPS. Even with that, it sounds like less of a project than what the PO of mine left me with; wiring nightmares, blocked off heater core, haggard interior, beat to hell bed...to name a few things lol

Rotate what you drive every few days. I have 8 vehicles in total. Sometimes I drive something different every day of the week, sometimes I switch it up weekly. I go through phases where I'm more interested in one than the other but my love for them never dies

Theres a bunch of them around my area. I have a friend that imports them. Theyre cool and he says theyre easy to work on. Id want a 4x4 diesel one

Luckily it stopped raining for my ride home. I tried them again anyway before leaving work and they swiped a couple times and then stopped again. So maybe a bad ground or weak motor causing the circuit breaker to trip

Drove it to work today Two of my other go to vehicles wiper blades are shot and I had recently put a set on the MJ so I thought it would be a good idea to take it to work in the rain. Well the wipers quit working on me half way to work luckily I don't live too far. Anything common I can check while on break at work before my ride home?

@OffGridResearch Do you think there will be an option for a 3 piece wing(sides and center)? I get the idea of what youre going for with multiple pieces but it adds a lot more work for someone that has a nice tailgate. Looks cool though! Also, a new product idea, remember those old flat deflecta hood/bug shields? Id love to see a company make those again! I have a couple vehicles Id purchase one for.

Ive never known anyone personally that raced in it but Ive been watching it every year for the past decade. Its THE big event for real offroad enthusiasts. Told my foreman last week to leave me alone as Id be busy all week watching it Its on my bucket list for sure I was stoked though when I saw a pretty modified comanche in the everyman challange. Thought for sure someone on here would have been watching and known who it was

My MJ came with 97 four door XJ buckets. I swapped them out for 92 two door XJ bucket seats. But now I'm looking to swap a bench in there. I have a 88 S10 with a bench seat and it just suits these little trucks better, IMO. The wife and I can go for a ride with the dog in the S10 but not in the MJ
