  1. I did fab that linkage for AX-15 231. Far as I can tell it will work. Made the linkage. Just have to finish the truck, for real world testing results. Far too much effort for what the linkage is worth to fab vs stock. If you wheel your rig, or live in a snowy area, the corrosion on the t-case linkage SUCKS. Look at most other straight linkages, this mod merely mocks that. It is NOT jerry rigged. It is a simple solution to a common problem. If you follow the write-up, it is easy. I have done it multiple times with great success, and don't have any of the sticky shifter or other problems the stock linkage caused. The only thing you have to do is be sure the heim joint link you create is STRAIGHT and not at an angle and it works perfectly. BTW...it is MUCH easier to install than trying to RECREATE the stock scissor pattern.
  2. I need a fuel pump and sending unit....got one?

  8. New track bar and clutch master cylinder. Took her on the highway for the first time. She did great and was a volunteer vehicle for the Step Out and Walk for Diabetes this morning. You can see the Purple People eater sticking out and so small right now next to all the other Jeeps...
  9. SOA will drop your yoke 4 or more inches from stock and be 1 inch in...if you do the geometry, I believe it will be a wash.
  10. Or it's a one off. I would've knocked. People who own these things LOVE to talk about them.
  11. Unless you are savvy and shop around all the forums for used parts. RuffStuff has a good kit for the D44...you will need someone with GOOD welding skills to do the SOA for you. http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/catalog/d44-rear-axle-simple-swap-kit-p-201.html
  12. Get the Rough Country set. Affordable, and worked great for me.
  13. Very different then my other jeeps.I have only owned 91 and later...and some of the components are a bit different. I will try your suggestions...as soon as it stops raining.
  14. OK, so admittedly I have been an XJ guy for a long time. Just got into the MJ game, and have never owned a Renix vehicle before. SPECS: 2.5 AX4 2WD Short-bed. My clutch went to the floor today. Could not shift at all. Fluid level seemed fine. What should I check for?

  16. The handles are silly....and just screwed in...I think they would just pull out. I like the concept though. The flames, unfortunately, are painted.
  17. By the way...talked the guy down to $500. SWEET deal!
  18. Floors were replaced.
  19. I need a fuel sending unit compatible with an 87 2.5 Renix SWB. Let me know what you have...PLEASE. Thanks
  20. Sometimes when you are looking for an MJ this clean, you can't choose the color...lol And, unfortunately, the trailer is not mine....
  21. Yeah...took pictures while doing some work...the belt was not back on yet...lol
