  1. Pre 96 Jeep is all I need....with the exception of the Rubicon TJ...
  2. I agree....they have to maintain a fleet MPG standard...in order to build the GC and the like, they need these....
  3. I would drive it as a daily driver...

  5. Thank you Correy.....
  6.
  7. Not worth tearing down in my opinion, because you would need a donor for parts anyway. For the price one can be had, I would replace it. My $.02.
  8. <------ is jealous :chillin:
  9. The links you posted are for different floorboards entirely. It looks like the $75 one is a FULL pan and the other two are just foot pans.
  10. Same hear, then I realized I was fat... :rotf: Seriously though, water pump?
  11. Hold the slave with the push rod end facing the floor. Ensure that the slave is the lowest part of the system. With the cap off of the master, depress and release the slave cylinder. DO this until no more air bubbles up out of the master. DO NOT do this too quick, and DO NOT allow the slave plunger to fully cycle. This will ensure the seals do not blow. One complete, install the slave to the bellhousing, put the cap on the master. Go. Hope this helps. Jim
  12. I wish that that there was great upgrade bolt-in for the front. The Rubi "44" is a LP design with D30 outers. :( Dana 30 with a 31 spline locker and using 44 shafts and 44 inner/outer C's, bearings, lockouts. I know a dude who did this, and it came out GREAT!
  13. Not knocking the 44, but the question was which is strongest...
  14. torque is measured in FT/LBS
  15. Real numbers, not opinions: COT: Continuous output torque rating MOT: Maximum output torque rating Dana 35 rear axle COT: 870 MOT: 3480 Dana 44 rear axle COT: 1100 MOT: 4460 Ford 8.8 28spline COT: 1250 MOT: 4600 Ford 8.8 31spline COT: 1360 MOT: 5100 Dana60 semifloat COT: 1500 MOT: 5500 Yup...8.8
  16. Nice Rig...and that IS a Dana 44.
  17. I love it and hate it at the same time....
  18. I have had them both apart....brass synchros....when I drained the GL5 it looked like glitter...
  19. Pete, I will find the link. Look up the viscosity properties of GL3 and 10w-30, they are the same. Then look up the part number.
  20. I don't believe it is stock, but would work.
  21. The service bulletin was for the AX_ tranny's. AX5 and AX15 using brass synchros. The recommendation was for GL-3 fluids and the part number 4897622aa was superseded by part number 4761839AC. 4761839AC is 10W30 Oil. I run it in mine....
  22. Those are GL-5 high sulfur fluids....BAD for brass synchros....use full synthetic 10w-30. There was a service bulletin about this some years back. Trust me!!
  23. Another example on my old Cherokee, the Super Moo....they look GREAT in black!
